The01 Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 (edited) Hello, here is a new MOC - a Forklift. It is an alternate build of the 8460 - Pneumatic Crane Truck / Mobile Crane. It is kept in the typical studful technic building style, like the 8460 - crane. Its features are: Fork moving up and down Tilting of the fork (pneumatic) I'm very new here, please ask me questions and give me suggestions how to improve my posts, thank you! Here is a video: And some more photos: Even more photos! Instructions! Thank you for reading! I hope you like it. Edited October 8, 2021 by The01 Quote
Jurss Posted October 7, 2021 Posted October 7, 2021 First of all - thank You for reading forum rules (at least part about pictures etc.)! And nice alternate, could have been official B-model. Quote

I have seen enough new people recently uploaded 4 pixel images to EB instead of reading 5 mins how things work. Thank you. Cool looking B-Model. One question: As far as I can see the height of the fork should change if you tip the fork assembly. Have you tried to route the string close to the hinge of the fork to avoid this? Or is it not a problem at all? Thx for sharing Quote

Thanks, the allowed picture sizes are repeated often enough, so...OK. 8 hours ago, Gray Gear said: Cool looking B-Model. Welcome to EB Your post is fine, your pictures and video are visible, and are of correct size. For suggestions, just one: you may want to keep the size of the text the same throughout the post, it just looks more neat and clean. Difference usually occurs when you copy and paste from other posts/sites. 2 hours ago, The01 said: Thanks, the allowed picture sizes are repeated often enough, so...OK. Yes, I know it is repetitive, but we (staff) need to remind those rules, for the forum to be efficient for all. That being said, thanks for taking the time to try and see how to make a good post in the designated topic If you need any help, ask via M or in the forum And finally, your B model is indeed looking like a brother of 8840, very similar in styles. I wonder how it would look if you would put another set of tires on the front axle. Some forklifts have thicker tires on the front compared to the back ones. Quote

I never really saw that set, but it looks similar to my MOC, yes. Quote
