LegendaryArticuno Posted December 18, 2022 Posted December 18, 2022 The only Lego youtube channel that matters: Ransomfern, 2bricks and Chubbybots are also great channels, basically any channel that does detailed moc tutorials. Quote
dukesofbrickdom Posted February 23, 2023 Posted February 23, 2023 I would have to say that my absolute favorite LEGO Youtube channel is definitely Generic Stud. This stud is a true fan of the Ninjago theme and is not afraid to publicly exhibit his love of all things Ninjago. Has been a fan since he was a kid and is definitely a good representation of my generation of LEGO fans. Hats off to this legend. Quote
ks6349 Posted February 25, 2023 Posted February 25, 2023 I have never run a Youtube Channel. I do not intend to make a lot of money but now I want to run a channel that can help fund my hobby. Is there any advice? Quote
ks6349 Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 Is it difficult to make some pocket money through uploading videos to Youtube to fund my hobbies? I have never been a Youtuber before. Quote

BawesomeBurf Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 Some channels I enjoy are HighTeaToys, New Brickerton, Bricksie, and Jaystepher. Quote
evank Posted June 30, 2023 Posted June 30, 2023 Some good suggestions in this thread! My channel is brand new and has less than 200 subscribers. Please check it out. I'm "@TechnicallyEvan" on Youtube. Quote

Autumn Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 (edited) Most Lego Youtubers don't do it for me, but RR Slugger is great. He mostly covers older themes from the 90s and has a knack for finding interesting things to talk about in set reviews beyond "It looks cool" like unusual or exclusive and rare pieces and the last time they were produced, weird building techniques, colour palettes, and some Lego history to give context behind the set which makes it so interesting and fun. He also has an obsession for Rock Raiders which I find so entertaining to watch even though I have never been into that theme. A short while ago he made a review about a set that had a studless baseplate which I had never heard of before that also came in an extremely rare colour. Edited July 19, 2023 by Hell On Earth Quote
Kaz Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 Brick Binge was a really good one but hes taken all of his videos down sadly. He mainly did vehicles using powered up motors, including an awesome fire engine that was submitted to Lego Ideas …. Which brings me onto my own channel with 7 pitiful subscribers. Im not into the money side of it or even the polished videos of a youtuber, i just really wanted that fire engine. So with 5 pictures i started building it myself, sames goes for Attack on Wayne Manor, another Lego Ideas set i wanted. Theres videos of the build progress done as and when I can so check out Luminoki Lego Quote
cebelicamya Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 Brickcrafts is currently the best Lego channel in my opinion. He has an extremely big custom city as well as western city. His videos are also so welll edited and furthermore they are not long at all. What I like the most is that he captures every moc or build he makes in speedbuild form and after he finishes a moc, he makes before and after picture, where it is so satisfiying to see his progress of the city. He comes from Germany and has also a german channel, where he posts videos few days earlier than on his english channel. So if you want to see earlier posts u can also visit his german channel Bob Brikman on youtube. I also follow Emamsaurus, Bricksie, Jang, just2good, AFOL TV, but they were mentioned before. Quote
Yperio_Bricks Posted May 14, 2024 Posted May 14, 2024 Here are some of the Lego YT channels i like to watch @Space Coyote TheBrickinPanda - beautiful mediterranean city layout MrBookieboo - city layout HollyOnFilm - mostly Lego Star Wars, Harry Potter and Disney Hypolite Bricks - mostly high level Lego Star Wars mocs Canosie Labs - insanely detailed digital city layout (only 4 videos so far though) Nicki Bricks - Lego Star Wars and Star Wars / Disney fandom Brick World - very detailed city layout and trains (only German language though) Quote

Yoggington Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 Just wanna give a shout out to 1by1Brick's channel. His Castle Season 2 series just wrapped, and it might be *the* best Lego content on YouTube for Castle fans; https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLHFWYu0kTYlVqzGcj4ldHpfZb__MEcu6P Throughout it, he builds out a diorama using the LKC & Medieval village as the starting point, then uses that landscape to play out a story through each episode. Plenty of MOCs and just general techniquery mixed in as he goes. Quote
Karalora Posted December 24, 2024 Posted December 24, 2024 I stan octane thermoplastic all the way! He specializes in speculative Legend of Zelda themed sets and MOCs, but that's not all he does. Quote

lifeinplastic Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Probably just becoming a grumpy old man before my time but can’t stand most Lego YouTube channels with all the visits to Lego stores on ‘release day’. Mindless garbage in my view. Same as all the other rubbish about where to position your modular buildings. Much prefer seeing what people have created or projects they are working on, plus brickfilms and cities/layouts they have created themselves. Quote

Just as bad are the 'deals' ones where 10% or 20% off counts as a massive deal and is "great value" and you should follow these affiliate links to buy these great deals. Yet people watch these "I bought LEGO" videos and the creators get paid commission by youtube, which they then spend on LEGO and the cycle continues. Someone must enjoy the content. Quote
vizzitor Posted April 2 Posted April 2 As others have mentioned in the thread, Robin Hood Bricks is a good watch. He just does MOCs or modifies sets to fit into his settings or style. Even his "hauls" are relatively small amounts of bits and pieces he then uses in his builds. He uses a lot of odd old parts in very interesting ways and is not afraid of breaking the realism in the build to incorporate a bit of fun. The channel isn't his source of income either so he's not all about chasing the most views possible with clickbait and even takes time off from posting every now and again. I was put off watching any review videos at all once Jang really began to complain more about Lego and especially Youtube. Quote
