Lego VIP Add On Packs

I am still hoping to get it here in Canada in December. 

Someone told me we might get another one after that called lunar year add on pack or something similar. Thats would be cool.

The Funky one (almost spelled that way wrong.) comes back in Demember so I doubt LEGO is going to give us two at a time. Very weird that Europe is getting the winter one through points.

Just realized that the Fun & Funky pack comes with two glow in the dark minifigure heads, which I was very tempted to get for the street lights for the modulars. But they're $1.20 each from Bricks and Pieces, so I shan't, unless they throw in loads of extra packs next time I place an order.

Hmmm true. Its equivalent of 10$ in Canada with the points (its not available tho) i feel its too much. I hope to get the winter wonderland released the same as the other ones…we’ll see i guess.

Yeah i heard that too. Hopefully they continue these small packs for a while.  A good way for them to get rid of inventory as they can throw basically whatever they want in there and fit it under a “themed pack”. 
 

i want one with all the unreleased vidiyo parts :)

I want to make sure i understand better - Winter Wonderland Add-On will be available for VIP 1,000 points in Europe only, right? Or  both in North America and Europe?

Yeah, same here. Iknow xtra (theme) may be long gone but i really enjoy small extra things!

 

let’s see about Vidiyo parts would come back in one way or another! :)

I got the Funky pack at the weekend. I don't know if they have changed the formulation, but the heads I received don't glow anywhere near as brightly as ones from Monster Fighters, after the same exposure to light.

You are literally the only one I have ever seen that says the new glow-in-the-dark pieces don't glow as well as the old.  The new ones glow for awhile when the old ones glowed for like 30 seconds.

I didn't look at them for long. Maybe the new ones have slower phophoescence, so less bright but longer lived.

Must be because the new ones glow for a really long time. I'm not sure where my old ghosts went otherwise I'd do a test. But the new ones last for hours when I remember the old ones I kept sticking on a lightbulb to get to glow because they didn't last and that made it kind of useless.

Its called winter wonderland (and winter is long at least here..:) ) so maybe we get fun and funky until the end of december. Then lunard year in january and winter wonderland in February. Who knows

Don’t forget about Chinese New Year add-on. :) As you saw RichardGoring’s post, it said watch out for Lunar New Year add-on. Nothing about Winter onderland. So it’s next instead of Winter Wonderland.

I agree. These were/are the best ones!

I saw some very pixelated images from the lunar year one available from January 15th. Not sure what i think about it. It has rabbits. I’ll wait for the clear images. But i love these vip packs. I think they should continue making those for a while. Maybe helps them clear some inventory as well!?

Interesting choice to include Ski and Snowboard pieces, but hey, LEGO releasing a Ski Ramp in City in June/August  + it's winter in the southern hemisphere during that time.

Of course, can imagine that snowboard is a wake board, and the skis are for water skiing.
