This wave took over 6 months to get to this point due to a variety of issues (losing power almost monthly, my computer breaking, etc), so while it's not entirely finished I thought I'd post my progress so far. I noticed that for all the canon star wars games, lego does at most a battle pack or two covering the new characters (the battlefronts), and sometimes nothing at all (Fallen order and squadrons). Last year I covered squadrons content in a previous wave for the galactic civil war, so this wave is mostly dedicated to the canon battlefronts and fallen order. This is made as a 1hy wave, so it consists of 2 microfighters, a microfighter dual pack, 2 battle packs, a duel, and 4 system sets. MINOR SPOILERS for part of fallen order, nothing past the first sixth or so of the game though.

Stinger Mantis Microfighter (92 pieces):

Stinger%20Mantis%20Micro_2.pngStinger%20Mantis%20Micro.png

The first, and smallest set, is a microfighter based off the Stinger Mantis from fallen order. This is the ship that transports the player character from mission to mission, and it's unique shape proved challenging, as you'll see in the full-size model later in the list. The ship's wing rotates, and the smaller engine wing moves independently of the main wing and...also rotates alongside it? The model sacrifices the main wing's rotation, as the ship's wing faces upright in both cruising and landing positions, but keeps the mobility of the smaller wing, as it does move between positions. The set comes with the captain, Greez Ditruis. I would have given him the double-arm piece used for Rio from Solo, but it doesn't exist in stud.io.

Ebon Hawk Microfighter (102 pieces):

Micro%20Ebon%20Hawk.pngMicro%20Ebon%20Hawk_2.png

Well, I did say mostly canon. I love the old republic, and a canon remake has been long rumored. The Ebon Hawk is the old republic's millennium falcon, so it's of course deserving of a microfighter. I think I did a good job recreating the basic shape, though the curved parts at the rear are studded more and clash somewhat with the tiled front. The ship comes with it's pilot, Carth Onasi.

AAT vs TX-130 Microfighters (190 pieces):

Micro%20TX-130%20vs%20AAT.pngMicro%20TX-130%20vs%20AAT_2.png

These two tanks are based off their appearances in 2017's battlefront two. The game had a rocky start, but rebounded spectacularly by the time the TX-130 was added. The main cannons on both the tanks swivel, and both have stud shooters. The figures would be a 181st Armor division trooper, and a battle droid.

87th Sentinel Corps (128 pieces):

87thcorps_2.png

87thcorps.png

The build of this set, based off battlefront 2's 87th corps, is a republic barricade with an E-web. I wanted the battlepack build to be a thing that really existed in canon, as opposed to the random stuff that lego makes for the sets. I don't like putting new molds in the sets, but the figures, 4x 87th troopers, would have an updated p2 helmet that could fit visors and antenna. A major part of battlefront 2 is the class selection, so I included parts to transfer the troopers to different classes: a Thermal Detonator for the assault, visor, pauldron, and minigun for the heavy, sniper rifle, visor, thermal binoculars, and kama for the specialist, antenna, disrupter grenade, and pauldron for the officer, and a jetpack for the aerial trooper.

Resistance Troopers (101 pieces):

ResistanceBattlepackKlosslands_2.pngResistanceBattlepackKlosslands.png

The build for this battlepack, based off battlefront 2's age of resistance update, is a resistance turret and some ajan kloss terrain with a command post. Also included is a small crate with spare ammo. The figures are a resistance heavy, resistance officer, aerial trooper, and caphex spy.

Duel on Zeffo (189 pieces):

Zeffo%20Duel_2.png

Zeffo%20Duel.png

This is based off Cal's second duel with the second sister. The build includes the elevator you go down before the fight, which can be raised to the top of the platform and then lowered by pulling back the 2x4 tile. Also included is the ray shield that ends the fight. The figures are Cal, who has a grey half-pin to show Jaro Tapal's lightsaber and BD-1 on his shoulder, and Second Sister.

Battle on Sullust (377 pieces):

Battle%20on%20Sullust.pngBattle%20on%20Sullust%202.png

Alright, so here's where we start getting into the bigger designs. This is based off battlefront 1 (2015), which heavily featured Sullust in the marketing and game. The build features a turbolaser turret that can be removed from the terrain, one that can rotate 360 degrees and has cannons that swivel up and down. Also included are a wall with fire control behind it, a lava river, and a crate with a feature to launch it as if it exploded. The set comes with battlefront 2015's signature troops: two magmatroopers and 2 rebels in the outfits they wear on the sullust map.

Zeffo Tomb (560 pieces):

Zeffo%20Tomb%204.png

Zeffo%20Tomb_3.png

Zeffo%20Tomb_2.pngZeffo%20Tomb.png

This set is based off the tomb of Miktrull in Fallen order. This set is made to show more of the exploration aspect of the game, and includes representations of a few puzzles. The left section of the build features a crate that can be pushed up against the wall, allowing Cal to reach the upper floor. This leads to the middle section, which has a vine for Cal to swing on to the right section. The right area contains a wall-run feature on the left side, a removable zeffo magnet (basically just a lamp) in the wall at the front, and the inside contains a broken wall that can be "force pushed" to allow access to a stim crate. The figures included are Cal, a purge trooper, two melee scout troopers, and a buildable tomb guardian.

Battle of Kashyyyk (821 pieces):

Kashyyyk%20final.pngKashyyyk.png

Kashyyyk%202.png

Kashyyyk%20Proto.png

This one I shared an image of awhile back on a different thread, it's based on the kashyyyk map for battlefront 2's capital supremacy. The main build is some kashyyyk terrain with a wookie hut and command post. The side builds are a full size tx-130, a STAP, and a smaller bit of terrain with a separatist command post. Figures would be two 41st siege battalion troopers, 1x 41st scout trooper, 2x wookie warriors, Dooku in his dark ritual outfit, and 2x b1 battle droids.

Stinger Mantis (849 pieces):

I'll be honest with you guys, this is probably the MOC I think turned out best out of anything I've ever made. This was quite a challenge to pull off, but it should work in real life (I'll be buying the parts to make sure of it.) The middle section with the wing can rotate, though the friction is strong enough that it'll lock into upright position for landing. The middle rotates around a center that keeps the front and back aligned. the ship has a ramp, spring shooters, and a fair amount of interior. There are seats for the pilot, co-pilot, and comms scanner, as well as the mission select table and a couch for Merrin. Unfortunately there was not enough room for the kitchen or engine room. The included figures are Cal with BD-1, Greez, Cere Junda, Merrin, Second Sister, and a Purge Trooper.

Let me know what you think, or any questions. You think these are cool? Let me know! You think these are garbage? Let me know!

Also let me know what you think I should do next. I could do another 1hy wave, a 2hy wave for one of my previous waves (I've done ones for the Siege of mandalore Clone wars arc, Galactic civil war, and The Mandalorian), or something else.

Yes, they are brilliant, I especially like the stinger mantis ( the larger one), the engines are especially well done, and the Kashyyyk moc is also brilliant, the microfighters are also very neat and the Zeffo tomb is also nicely done.

Wow, just wow!! :classic:
These are all very good indeed.
I think that I'm going to run out of superlatives on this post, lol.

87th Sentinel Corps
I had to Google the 87th Sentinel Corps TBH, but this MOC Battlepack is very nice!
The E-web blaster design is very good & I love the stud shooter addition, functionality is cool.
The barricade design looks great.

Duel on Zeffo
As a huge JFO fan, I have to say that I really appreciate your sets on this theme. Zeffo is one of my favourite Worlds in the game.
This set is really good & such a memorable moment in the game. Your Second Sister & Cal minifigs are great, cool to have BD-1 also. The lift mechanism is good & has given me some ideas for features on my own builds.

Battle on Sullust
Another very good set, I especially your like Turbolaser Turret design. The overall look & greebling are great.
The design of the wall & fire control area is nice. I like the explosive crate feature. The minifigs are great too.

Zeffo Tomb
Exploring the tombs & solving puzzles in JFO is a very enjoyable aspect of JFO. I remember this section of the game well & really liked it.
Your set is really good, both detailed & displayable.
The minifigs are excellent, if only TLG would produce some official versions. Purge Troopers are very cool indeed. The Tomb Guardian is top notch.

Battle of Kashyyyk
This all looks great & well thought out.
The landscaping / tree detailing of the Wookie Hut and Command Post are very good.
Your TX-130 & STAP builds are perfect & a great choice of minifigs.

Stinger Mantis
Outstanding, I absolutely love your build of the Stinger Mantis! I wouldn't know where to start with this, lol.
All the functionality is very cool, being able to change between landing & flight modes is fantastic.
The interior has everything needed & looks great. I much prefer Lego ships with interiors.
Again, the minifig selection is brilliant. I need them all!!

Hmm, I'll have to think about possible suggestions for future waves....

All looks good. For the Stinger Mantis, given it’s size. I would go bigger with it in order to fit in the engine room.

Thank you, the large stinger mantis is probably the one I'm most proud of. I can't take credit for those engines though, the basic concept was first used in an official set, I think Enfys Nest's speeder bike. I merely adopted them for use in a larger ship :devil_laugh:

Wow, that's some thorough feedback!
Thank you so much! I agree lego needs to make some official fallen order figures and sets. Looking forewords to seeing your own builds with the lift mechanism. Do let me know if you think of a future wave for me to do, I've got no clue where to go next (aside from building the larger stinger mantis with physical bricks).

I thought about it, but it's already over 850 parts, and to make it big enough to have an engine room, it would either need to be taken out of proportion or gain upwards of 400 parts. A UCS-style stinger mantis would certainly be a sight to behold, though.

I love the structure/building focused Fallen Order sets since we don't often get them in the SW line. Really, its a crime that Fallen Order didn't get ANY sets. I love the command post additions in the BF2 sets and the microfighter TX-130.

Very nice, funnily enough my favourites of these are the BF2 ones, despite it being the only one of these games I haven't played (Though I do own it, I just haven't played it yet, I will play soon but multiplayer games interest me less). But a very good wave overall.

The Mantis does look a little off to me, but that's probably because I'm used to it being yellow. If you wouldn't mind, could I ask to see your model of the Stinger Mantis recoloured in some of the other paintjobs from the game, especially the Gold Squadron one.

As you wish, my master :vader:

I did Gold Squadron, Greezy Money, and Perhelion. I did not check if these colors exist in real bricks, though.

Thank you! It is truly criminal, especially after the game ended up selling well over a million copies, no way they wouldn't be able to sell some sets for it.
