n1majneb Posted May 21, 2021 Posted May 21, 2021 Really great design, there’s plenty of beautiful details in this build - I’m glad you kept that sunlight shot, it looks great bathed in light. Quote
starwarcam Posted May 22, 2021 Posted May 22, 2021 Again, you nailed the balance between clean and intricate with this build. The wires and awnings are very well placed as always. The arches in the build offer a satisfying, unifying theme to look at. The characters are kind of packed in there, but it doesn’t look bad, which you also seem to have a knack for doing. Good colors and the monument turned out well in the end imo. The touch of sand blue seems like it was a necessary and perfect choice of color splash balance. the story is interesting in terms of what the the separatist cause could gain in controlling jedha. Something tells me Grievous would be ... quite happy 😄 for Jedha! Quote
marvelBoy123 Posted May 23, 2021 Posted May 23, 2021 This is such a great build - the shapes and colours blend so well and it definitely captures the aesthetic of Jedha! Interested by this backstory for Captain Yima - clone wars era separatists do have dark side connections so I'd be interested to see how he grapples with this in our current timeline... Quote
Darth Bjorn Posted May 23, 2021 Posted May 23, 2021 Another beautiful block - shapes, textures, and colors work brilliantly. I'm not sure I get the "tower" in the back. It has some nice shapes, but takes away space, and makes the roof feel cramped imo. With that many figs it would be nice to have some space to show posing/interaction - or just clues to why they're standing on a roof... :P Also no rails? Is it an imperial building by any chance? ;) And what's up with the blue color on the building again? Anyways - the lower door is amazing! The wires on the left side is fantastic, and the general wall texture is just great! 👍 Quote

I thought of the "roof" as a section of street, with the lower section being just a lower tier of the city. But I definitely get the feedback. Thank you! Quote
Stuartn Posted May 24, 2021 Posted May 24, 2021 Amazing build, I really like the details of the spire and the walls of the house, the light blue at the base of the building is interesting and works really well. The figures are very nicely done as well Quote

Yima has a bit of a complicated past (not all the people who wanted independence from the Republic were evil, but that doesn't mean he has no regrets from the war). I'd love to explore more of it later on. Thanks for knowing the characters! Quote
