Athos Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 Hey all, Here's two more totally unrelated vignettes I made this afternoon. First, we have Pippin Read exploring the temple of Ares: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Athos/Vi...urers/ares1.jpg The gallery, along with other Adventurer vignettes (when modified of course): http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=119054 And second, we have a vignette inspired by the movie Paint Your Wagon, starring Lee Marvin and Clint Eastwood (if you haven't seen it, you should, its a must see): http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Athos/Vi...paintwagon1.jpg The gallery, with other Gold Rush era vignettes (when moderated of course): http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=136072 Hope you like them, Steve P.S. Did you like the subject line? :D Quote
ApophisV Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 :/ I am really not sure what to say... Something positive like "Wow, those are some fine vignettes!!!" maybe. But you have heard this so often... Something to tease you and to show that I am so envious about your amazing creativity and building skills? I dunno. So I will go along with a standard comment, a question and a suggestion: Great work as always. Do you keep all your vignettes build or do you take them apart afterwards? In the first case you could try to set several of them (e.g. the western vigs) into a larger diorama so they fit all together! Quote
Akkhraziel Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 The subject line got my attention...wondering if I was going to see some really strange afventure dio or something more akin to the reasons Alcibiades was banished from Athens (the first time). Akkh Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted July 11, 2005 Governor Posted July 11, 2005 Athos, you are the master of vignettes! If you enlarged all your photos to A1 or A2 size you'd have enough work to fill an entire gallery... Every couple of days yuu've got a couple of new ones! It amazing! You're a machine! And you do them so well. Quote
