Bodi Posted March 23, 2021 Posted March 23, 2021 While the small group of redcoats gathered around the town of Aurelia, the commander of an artillery position stood on the top of an old bunker, began to observe the ennemy's movement with his spyglass. The artillery position was the partially covered by the outgrown, thus providing some sort of natural camouflage. Without a word, the artillerymen made their gun ready, and waited for the order from their officer. Edit: It seems that OL can still raise 10 men in Aurelia, so this is a troop build now. A peloton of artillerymen to be licensed in Aurelia. Quote
Professor Thaum Posted March 23, 2021 Posted March 23, 2021 ... while the peace accords continue to be a work in progress... nice round top and clever round base Quote
Ayrlego Posted March 23, 2021 Posted March 23, 2021 Nice cannon emplacement Bodi. I like the use of the dark blue pants with the regular blue coats - I'm not sure I've seen that combo before. It should be interesting to see how (also if) this action plays out. Quote
evancelt Posted March 23, 2021 Posted March 23, 2021 Nice round tower, Bodi! Also, way to embrace the lime - it can be scary! What's the shovel guy up to? Is this build licensed, or for context/atmosphere? Quote
Bodi Posted March 24, 2021 Author Posted March 24, 2021 Thanks guys! 11 hours ago, evancelt said: What's the shovel guy up to? He's digging a hole. 11 hours ago, evancelt said: Is this build licensed, or for context/atmosphere? I have to say I'm a bit lost here, I built it initially as a troop raising build, but as you redcoats have landed at Aurelia, and knowing that we can't raise any more troop from this settlement, I think I'll hold off from licensing it. Captain Dee Posted March 24, 2021 Posted March 24, 2021 The cannon design and placement are nice, and that bunker is a great addition to the scene. Quote

NOD Posted March 25, 2021 Posted March 25, 2021 Nice little diorama. The position of the cannon with the bunker next to it looks good. Looks more like the soldier is playing croquet with the shovel. Quote
