Grover Posted January 8, 2021 Posted January 8, 2021 Very well done. I love how you have used primarily the masonry bricks but have incorporated some of the off-color plates for detail without getting too chaotic. The roof and outside vegetation are fantastic, and I love the garage. You have made great use of the limited space inside, and the whole thing feels very much modular scale. You do a great job designing buildings that fit the Lego building scale. I wish that they let you design sets. My only question is where is the famous staircase that Harry lived under? Maybe I'm just not seeing it? Quote
hagridshut Posted January 8, 2021 Posted January 8, 2021 Great work! The kitchen with cabinets and appliances is my favorite part of your build. I also like the modular style design with easy access to each floor. Quote

It was difficult for me to put all this details to a 32X32 base plate so I try to make my best. The room of Harry is when you enter the house to your righ hand. I will saw you to the next pictures. I don't put the stairs because I want to make a kitchen.. I hope you enjoy the build and love to read your feedbacks.. 14 hours ago, hagridshut said: Great work! Thank you very much and iam really glad you see that the way I build the house is just to be playable.. I really try fit them in a very small space.. Quote

I think that they can't be scaled down as easily as large rooms since they are only designed to fit one person at a time, so they have to be minifigure scale, whereas most house rooms are scaled smaller. Unless you're willing to build a house the size of that Simpsons House that came out a while back, houses will necessarily be smaller. In any case, great job, and keep up the good work! Quote
TheLegoDr Posted January 12, 2021 Posted January 12, 2021 The house looks great. I didn’t buy the set because I didn’t love it (I did buy the figures though). obviously adding stairs would have been preferable but I understand with limited space. my only concern with the build is the yard being overgrown. I feel Vernon would make sure it is trimmed because he’d be worried what the neighbors thought. Quote
Tariq j Posted January 13, 2021 Posted January 13, 2021 Looks really good! Love the details in the build. Quote
