astral brick Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 If visible, they are able to ruin the look of the most expensive sets. Standing out so much, generally out of place, colour matching is a chimera. Now I wonder, since we can't get rid of them, how many millions of blue pins were really produced?
Zerobricks Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Just calculate the number of sets having them by the number of sets sold and you will get your number. And I perfectly understand why they are blue. As long as people will keep on mixing up orientations of differentials, types of connectors and such, there will be a need to visually distinct the different pieces.
Gray Gear Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 (edited) I would appreachiate if y'all would not push topics off the front page that actually show some work and effort effort by creating new topics that dont show anything and have no purpose. I am the very first person to criticize the color vomit going on in the current LEGO sets. But this isn't getting us anywhere. Who cares how many blue pins were made? Obviously way to fkng many Edited December 11, 2020 by Gray Gear
Maaboo the Witch Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 I agree, this subject is a total waste of time.

Personally, if I think a subject would be considered a waste of time, I most likely won't comment on it. People have different opinions, but it's always good to respect other people's opinions too. nerdsforprez Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 I agree we should also respect other's opinions... but I am not sure this thread qualifies as such. More of a rant (and they aren't the same thing). I suspect this to be locked sometime soon....
Milan Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Right now, there are 2.2 million of them listed for sale on BL. For now, it seems this is a dead end topic. If there is something important to add regarding this, please continue in the General Part Discussion topic. Thanks.
