durazno33 Posted November 28, 2020 Posted November 28, 2020 I finally finished my Lego castle display and put together this video to talk about it. I hope you enjoy it! Lego Medieval Display Video Quote
JintaiZ Posted November 28, 2020 Posted November 28, 2020 Wow, this is amazing! It's already huge, but I'd still like to see an expansion. Quote

Like I show in the video, there is more to the city section that adds another 35-ish baseplates worth to this that I couldn't fit in my room. If not for Covid, this would have been premiered at the Phoenix Fan Fusion with a bunch of other builders to make a 19 table castle display. Sadly... Covid. Quote
murtaughf3 Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 Very nicely done. I'm considering starting a castle themed build myself. Quote
zoth33 Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 Very nice. I'm jealous you have so many pieces. I need a lot more to do what I want to do. I need to do more sorting also. The landscaping came out looking very good. I like the river. The rock work is nicely done. I like your trees. The buildings look nice. Are you planning on putting more pictures on flickr it would be nice to see all the details you put into the 5 year build? Great job. Quote
Grover Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 Very nice work! I love the size of the layout and how you put things together. You also have a nice YouTube channel with a lot of informative and straightforward videos. I like that they are concise and to the point, and you don't ramble for 30 minutes about how to build a round tower or something like a lot of people seem to do. You do a good job balancing size and detail. We'd all love to have the most detailed build possible, of course, but with a display that size, building every building with all plates or something would require an insane amount of bricks. I like how you have different levels to your landscaping as well. It helps break up the scene. Great job! Quote

I worked hard to raise the build up so that it wasn't just a flat build and it sure took a lot of bricks to do. Thanks for appreciating it. Quote
neonic Posted November 30, 2020 Posted November 30, 2020 One word ... wow Looks really great. It all looks great itself but also because of the different 'halve's, I mean the town part with the castle wall and houses on one side and the countryside on the other. the House are looking great, and also like the tiny castle, showed on the left of the photo. the Trees (with the cones) looks creative too, only the color is a bit ... I also noticed the 'old' knights, I have them too, nice too see Quote
