TechnicSteine Posted September 25, 2020 Posted September 25, 2020 (edited) Hi there :) There are really impressive MOCs in this section and I´m a bit intimidated but here is my first MOC after 20 years away from from LEGO. I´m more a fan of classic LEGO parts and technic, and you can clearly see that in the parts I´m using ;) Liftarms are still a bit strange for me hehe. This fairy ride is from last year, it is made of 1062 parts and has 2 motors. I can onyl upload 102kb so here is the first picture and a video in motion: Have a great day everyone :) Edited September 26, 2020 by TechnicSteine Quote
amorti Posted September 25, 2020 Posted September 25, 2020 Sehr schön! I'm impressed with how much you got that tiny motor to do. The modern motors are much stronger. Quote
TechnicSteine Posted September 25, 2020 Author Posted September 25, 2020 One brick more and the motor would dissolve itself into dust Quote
Lakop Posted September 25, 2020 Posted September 25, 2020 I have a couple of those motors myself. Nice to see the studded beams in action. H Quote
Jundis Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 (edited) This looks like one of the old combi-builds, sometimes mentioned in technic: "If you have the 8851, 8854 and 8865 you can build this fantastic fairy ride!" Great job :-) 11 hours ago, TechnicSteine said: I´m more a fan of classic LEGO parts and technic, and you can clearly see that in the parts I´m using ;) Liftarms are still a bit strange for me hehe. With liftarms and the newer connectors, there are much more possibilities but way less stability :D Edited September 26, 2020 by Jundis Quote
m00se Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 Very nice. Impressive how you get the lifting mechanism working so smoothly (and without burning up the motor). Quote
emielroumen Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 Very nice creation! Looks so retro and cool, could have been part of Lego’s Technic Idea range end of the 80s, beginning of 90s. Quote
TechnicSteine Posted September 26, 2020 Author Posted September 26, 2020 Wow thanks, your comments are motivating ? I have another ride in mind and will post it as soon as it works Quote
chlego Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 That motor is actually impressing me. I love that build, even though I don't like "bricked pieces", you kinda make me like them with this thing. Quote
