Beck Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 Here's my model of the hopper car Hoki2000. I wanted to use part #32028 for the sides, but they are just too expensive in dark orange to justify building, so I opted for a simpler design. This led me to reconsider the color choice as reddish brown would allow the use of part #32028. Personally I'm favoring the dark orange since the reddish brown just looks too dull. I'm curious to hear other opinions. Reference Images:http://tekkadon2.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-44.html Quote
zephyr1934 Posted August 14, 2020 Posted August 14, 2020 I do not see where the door rails are on the model, but depending on the location, you could get a similar effect with jumper plates. Meanwhile, your image of the prototype looks somewhere between reddish brown and dark red to my eyes. Quote

Sorry, I wasn't being clear; If I were to use the door rails I would be limited to reddish brown or dark red. Quote
