Hi too ...

I read this https://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?/forums/topic/95660-welcome-to-eurobricks-new-member-get-started-here/

And except if I didn't see it, there is nothing about the amount of datas that can be send. So I guess there is something to do with the vassal status.

However, the picture issue, isn't really one. I could use Cjoint for exemple to show more. But noone seem to have interest to help me

I have released a new v1.3 of Pimp up my Lamborghini with some minor upgrades!

New features:

  1. Revised building instructions with part highlighting and continuous step numbers and some improvements for ease of use
  2. Using new printed parts in instructions and renderings
  3. Added 2 half pins next to center diff to allow free run when wheels are detached (step 34)
  4. Reinforced gearbox indexer with reduced friction for shifting (steps 40, 46, 62)
  5. Reinforced gear stepper (step 64, 116, 171)
  6. Smoother door mechanism by using non-friction pins and axles (steps 189, 192, 193, 203, 206, 435, 456)

@barbanera Nice detailing!

I've been wondering if some lines could be sharpened using the newer, shorter panels that are now available in Lime...

yes probably, my model was actually finished almost 2 years ago. but yes it would be interesting to get back to it.

maybe I'll do some testing with some of the new shorter panels I have in black.

About five years ago I bought an assembled car and took it apart, inventoried all the parts, obtained book one and two, and obtained the missing parts along with the parts required for this {original) MOC. The problem is that I have three bags of black, two bags of grey, one bag of lime, and two bags of miscellaneous. I am overwhelmed and that is an understatement. My question and the reason for this post: Is there a parts listing for the individual boxes? Thank you in advance of any help offered.

As far as I know there isn't a listing of parts for individual boxes. I'm not sure it would you give much advantage anyway. I recently broke down mine to rebuild using jb70's build instructions and no matter how you decide to group parts together there is a daunting mass of bits in front you! Even if you had a list of what came from each box you'd still have to hunt through the piles of parts to then separate them all out in to each box set and all you'd end up with is several slightly smaller daunting piles!

Since you know everything you need is there somewhere in the bags you have you might as well just bite the bullet and start building, accepting the fact that it might/will take a frustrating long time to find some of the parts you need for each step of the build. Obviously the further into the build you get the easier it gets as the pile of parts get used up. That's the approach I took anyway and the plus side, if there is one, is that it is actually really satisfying when you finally find that tiny part you've been searching for the last 20 minutes!

I've finished rebuilding both my friend's and my own Sian models, and in both models I have removed the rubber-band mechanism added in building Steps 273-275, instead using the grey 1x3 cross-block (#32184) to lock the vertical axle (i.e. the assembly added in Step 246) in place. There is still enough give in the assembly for it to work, and I'm finding that this modification provides more positive pressure to the reverse side of the switching mechanism, resulting in smoother and more reliable gear changes. I'd be curious to know if others have tried something similar.

I found the same problem both with the original build and also using jb70's build instructions although jb70's build was a bit better. It's fine on the 1-4 side of the gearbox but when it tries to shift the extra high/low side of the 'box it didn't seem to have the leverage to move and fully engage it in position. I tried your mod (although jb70's build in that area is slightly different so I had to use a 2L XO block to do the same job as your cross block) and it improved things quite a bit but still the occasional missed shift when the arms from the paddle shifter slipped off the gear wheel assembly before full engagement of the gear occurred. I added another white rubber band to the paddle shifter assembly to give it more tension so it didn't slip off the pins too early and now it works really well every time.

It may be a slightly illegal building technique but it is a Lamborghini and I'm pretty sure they don't do everything strictly by the book during their builds!
