The Clone Trooper know as "Flip" had only just started his first assignment and wondered how he got into this situation. Hiding behind some crates just feet away from a trio of droids! He hadn't even made it to the front line yet! While getting ready to ship out he and a small group of his brothers were pulled out of line and given a hush hush operation. "Hush-hush" here meant the locals couldn't find out that a group of clankers were on Coruscant! A small group had been seen by the Coruscant Underworld Police and had already wrecked a sector looking for something called "Nova Crystals". Luckily, the police were able to cover it up by saying it was a couple of binary loadlifters. Apparently this happened enough down there that no one batted an eye.

While chasing the droids, several small skirmishes had occurred and now it was just Flip left with one grenade and no more ammo. He had been able to find the nova crystals first and hide. He didn't think he could get all three with his combat vibroblade and he wasn't sure how the crystals would react to a grenade blast. Or maybe they would react badly to the explosion and destroy the last of the clankers. He knew to honor his brothers he had to complete this mission. He also knew while he may not have been the best soldier there was something he was good and why he received his nickname. He could flip a grenade into any spot needed during combat training! Well, now was the best time to see if his brothers named him well. He waited until the droids had dropped their guard and reached for the crystals before he took aim and tossed the grenade.

Good job creating unique crates! And I love that light pole you've made. I agree it might help the overall look to tile the top of the build. That gives it uniformity. My general rule is to tile all man-made surfaces and use studs to show natural ground. There are exceptions to this of course, but it's what I usually fall back on. Your build is also slightly out of focus. Maybe try taking the photo from further back but zooming in more.

Ahem..that is supposed to be a grenade flying through the air

Nice idea. Did you try supporting it from the throwing hand? I know those wrist/shoulder joints aren't always the strongest.
