tomclair Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 (edited) Hi everybody, This is my first post on the forum but i've been an Eurobricks fan for several years! Every MOCs that I see on the forum inspires me a lot. So here's a Porsche Dealership that i made on LDD last year. I'm looking to build it for real soon. There's a full dealership interior, a Porsche Design Shelf and a repair shop. Hope you like it! LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 (edited) Fantastic, very similar to the real one, the round corner is simply perfect for the final result! Edited April 27, 2020 by LEGO Train 12 Volts Quote

neonic Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 Looking good already. Smooth and clean. But ... dealership, and no cars? Quote

For the moment there's a Porsche 918 from the 75910 speed champions set inside the dealership. But i'm planning to make a Porsche Cayenne for the parking outside. Quote
neonic Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 Just a thougt ... maybe you can add some airco / 'extractor' hood on the roof. Guess it might be handy when you have also a repairshop. Quote

Guess it's (also) because I'm into construction / technical stuff. But anyhow, looks good. I think they have plenty of 'fresh air' and it has also that clean look. Only the E is a bit of ... Quote
ukbajadave Posted April 30, 2020 Posted April 30, 2020 I assume the letters are 3x3 and attach via headlight bricks? Maybe you can do something with 32028 plate with rail where you build it into the wall. Quote

Maybe you can do something with 32028 plate with rail where you build it into the wall. I already tried, and I tried other solutions as well but it doesn’t look good (proportions, sizing). I did several versions of this logo and this one is the most accurate at the moment even with the ugly E. I really want this logo to be in bricks so I’ll keep working on it! Thanks for your help and feedback! Quote
Maxim I Posted April 30, 2020 Posted April 30, 2020 The shape looks good! I do hope that the white behind the letters is tiled? Chech example I fear if not, the result will be kinda unsatisfying. For the "E", maybe a red grille tile will do something (if you place him as the middle horizontal bar of the "E"). That middle horizontal bar won't be the same thickness as the upper and lower bar, but it will break the plain :) Quote

I think my best bet is to redesign the whole wall behind to better incorporate the logo Quote
AllanSmith Posted April 30, 2020 Posted April 30, 2020 I couldn't fit the Ferrari wording on the building so went with it on the wall of the outside sales yard. Quote
tomclair Posted May 1, 2020 Author Posted May 1, 2020 Wow, love what you've done here, great techniques on the logo! Quote
