Aurore Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 After Mitgardian Heroes and Scientists, I'm glad to share a third custom Collectable Minifigures Series with you! This time, the theme is Adventure. Inspired by adventure literature classics, pulp fiction novels, and vintage archetyps...Note : just like with the previous one, I hesitated between posting it in this forum or in the Action & Adventure one. I chose this one because this is sort of a MOC within the Collectable Minifigures Series theme... Sorry if I made the wrong choice! Darth Shadowthrone Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 Wow what a unique and fun idea! I really like the designs for the Priestess, Bookworm, Bush Pilot and especially the Boss, they all just seem to really work and stand out. Quote
deraven Posted April 24, 2020 Posted April 24, 2020 These are great! I was just putting together a CMF-style lineup and diorama of the original Adventurers characters and seeing this more modern take on basically the same theme is wonderful. Great selections and combinations here! Quote
Robert8 Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 Omg these are perfect! Archaeologist, The Bush Pilot and The Ingenue are the best ones! I'd get them all if real! Quote
Karalora Posted April 25, 2020 Posted April 25, 2020 Absolutely classic pulp archetypes! Six seasons and a movie please! Quote

DarrellBricker Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 Awesome series! Very nice usage of parts. I love seeing how people take parts and use them in a new context - the results are often inspirational. Well done! Quote
The Reader Posted April 29, 2020 Posted April 29, 2020 What a great series - I'd like to get them all! They all are awesome, but The Hunter and The Boss are the two I like most. Quote
Aurore Posted May 4, 2020 Author Posted May 4, 2020 @DarrellBricker, @The Reader, thank you very much! Quote
Murdoch17 Posted May 4, 2020 Posted May 4, 2020 Love the bush pilot and the airplane mechanic! I can almost hear the mechanic and pilot saying: Mechanic: "It'll be two weeks before your plane can fly aqain after this landing-with-no-wheels stunt you've pulled, plus I'll need to order another prop blade for for the right engine and build a whole new tail." The pilot replies: "Great, I'll be back in three-to-five days to pick it up, and just for you, I'll even throw in chance to hit it big with my next cargo load as payment - I'm going to be looking for a lost temple with some guy named Thunder. Supposed to be filled with gold and lots of booby traps." Mechanic: "...How much gold are we talking?" Quote
Aurore Posted May 12, 2020 Author Posted May 12, 2020 @Murdoch17 Thank you! I really like your dialogue between them... Quote
