Farantros narrative:

The Lylek are terrifying creatures but still better than that cowardly little sleemo of a neimoidian who was my host. We had been hunting a number of Lylek over the past few days and Charlie and I had been quite successful in exterminating the beasts. That was when the idea came to me. The venom on the barb of a Lylek is a mild poison that can disable its victims but is not lethal. For this reason it sees use in traditional Pacithhip medicines for pain relief and is hallucinogenic when taken in larger quantities resulting in it often being mixed with Spice. Well anyway, the stuff is perfectly legal but difficult to get hold of especially on a dump such as Deysum and here was one of the places that it was in high demand. We had been told that after our host had taken his pickings, we were each allowed to collect whatever trophies we wished from the corpses so I took a speeder and removed the barbs from each Lylek. The venom then had to be collected and distilled before bottling, it was a difficult and time consuming process but that helped drive the price up so I wasn't complaining.

Well I found a guy in Dragnoor who would give me a good price for it and that was settled. Before I continue, I guess I should explain my motives. Some would say it was questionable to sell such things and I could hardly disagree but you see I needed the money. I could live quite comfortably on my allowance, it wasn't a lavish lifestyle, but I didn't have to watch every credit. Then Charlie came along. Karius had been quite clear with me, I could keep her working for me, but the Triumvirate wouldn't pay her - she was my responsibility and her wage would have to come out of my pocket. Add a second person into the mix and things start to get expensive. With the credits I could get from this, the problems would be sorted for a while. Besides, the money from the sale should be able to sustain us until I got a pay rise. And speaking of pay rises, I had been getting a few hints that I might be given some high position in the administration of Deysum once we had fully occupied it...

Anyway back to the story. I ended up in one of the roughest neighbourhoods in Dragnoor in the middle of the night - not my smartest move. Luckily, I had a death trooper escort. As we approached the address, there was a Togruta standing outside. 'Down the alley, first door on the right, second story, your guard stays out here.' she told me.

Well the transaction went smoothly from there and all seemed fine...

After the TT-8L gatekeeper droid made a reappearance in the Mandalorian I knew I wanted to make one and the idea of an urban building kinda went from there. I was certainly a chance to try some new more complex techniques and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

I would love you feedback!

I love the wall structure, that is really an improvement from your previous buildings. Super cool! I feel you could have done a little more with the brown block on the right, but that is a minor thing. Also nice to see those round doors and windows - really adds that starwars'y feel.

I was looking at that, thinking "Bjorn would love some greebling there..." Sorry I didn't bring it up earlier.

Thanks, the wall technique was certainly fun. Yeah the dark tan/ brown bit was a bit of a problem. I wanted to add something on top but it being 4x4 makes very difficult dimensions to work with and I don't want it to extend too much detail on the front and risk making the street seem too cluttered. I'll probably redo it but right now the improvements on my other two builds are my main focus.

Glad you guys like it!

Thanks, it was something that I had seen other builders use and I felt like wires and pipes broke up the rocks with something more industrial, keeping the urban location.
