The natural direction was north, towards the Arkbri river which was barely a days ride away. Although a great deal of trade was still being conducted along the oilroad, more and more people in the city had realized that the lifeblood of Historica was still the Arkbri river. On it, goods and resources could travel as far away as Mitgardia, with a significant reduction in risk that otherwise came with transport in the badlands. Tabib D'Odo had recieved an invitation from one of the more prominent merchants in the city to discuss this matter further... Quote
zoth33 Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 The fireplace and mantle are great, I like the use of the teeth pieces. The designs for the wall and floor are nice and compliment each other well. Great looking figs too and good story. Quote
Kai NRG Posted March 10, 2020 Posted March 10, 2020 Like I said on Flickr, your use of arches here is really good - in fact the entire chimney section looks great, especially the shield. And are those old style books for the chairs? I think that's a golden hairpiece under the mantel too, isn't it? Quote
Grover Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 Some fantastic work, as we have come to expect from you! You use a lot of nice techniques, as Kai has pointed out, not to mention great use of color and the awesome tile floor! Great job! Quote
Eoin Wallace Posted March 15, 2020 Posted March 15, 2020 I like the colours on the walls and floor but my eyes were drawn too the fireplace, which you have done very well. The story is also very good, and I'm exited to see what comes next! Quote

Went a little back and forth in the level of detail with the fireplace so I'm glad you liked it! Old style books is the way to go, haha! Was a bit suprised actually that they fit so well with a 2x3 plate. You are correct about the hairpiece On 3/11/2020 at 2:23 AM, Grover said: Some fantastic work, as we have come to expect from you!
