Oh wow, not sure how I missed this one! Seriously great looking fort with an excellent colour palette (would have loved to see you somehow work some coral into it but I totally understand the desire to 'play it safe' I get it a lot when I have crazy ideas about colours!). I like the small gaps under the tan STUD pieces in the fort. I haven't seen that done before in the stucco style and it's very effective. I'll have to check out the build log to see how you did it. Great angling on the walls and that brick separator roof is very interesting. Great work!

Thanks Ayrlego!  The stud gaps are created by putting the SNOT bricks a stud behind the wall and then using a brick instead of a plate (or two plates and a tile).  It's kind of funny that it works and I can see how it might not work at all for some people, but I like the unusual bit of texture!

Thank you.  The first one does not link to a larger version of Flickr hence my query.

But now I've got access to the higher res version I can make an all social media story for this MOC.

Hoorah!

Thanks Mister Phes, I'm enjoying the recognition! :pir-grin:

Nice. You should expand it, give it cannons and the like. It could look like that one stronghold from Black Sails.

Thank you!  My last fort was about half the size, so maybe my next one will be twice as big! :pir_laugh2:

I missed that jewel too! Ingenius design (arches, sloped walls to name but a few) and part usage!!!

Thanks blackdeathgr! :pir-grin:

sweet fort!

The amount of details and nice brick uses is as always superb!

Thanks Maxim!  :pir-classic:

Nice Fort! The colors are in my opinion a little too brilliant, but the resulting effect is very nice, something like a postcard from a Caribbean fort. Nice job with the angled walls and with the roundish elements (the arch, the tower...). Well done!
