Parazels Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 (edited) Hello. This is my first MOC since 2011. I was trying to design it as if it were an official Lego set. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=578569 Edited February 2, 2020 by Parazels Quote
Jeroen Ottens Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Very nice looking and well functional MOC. I love it . I especially like the cherrypicker, it is slim, light and yet stiff. And it is a superb use of these awkward tapered panels. For a real official model nowadays it has too many functions and details I think. Do you have a partcount? Quote
Jurss Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Nice cherry picker. 2 minutes ago, Jeroen Ottens said: For a real official model nowadays it has too many functions and details I think. But AFOLs would smash it because of slowiness :) Quote

Yes, it was my goal - to make the superstructure and boom as slim and simple as possible. Normally those constructions are very messy even in official sets. 14 minutes ago, Jurss said: Nice cherry picker. But AFOLs would smash it because of slowiness :) What do you mean? Jurss Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 That boom operation is really slow, to be honest. Quote

An XL actuator would solve the problem, but I don't have one yet. Also the batteries were slightly uncharged after several previous attempts to take the video. Maaboo the Witch Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Hold it! You're @Yevhen! Your Brickshelf handle is Parazels... nice try. Hey @Jim... Quote
Jim Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 And using the same avatar pic. He is not even trying. Edit: after a brief talk, I have given him the (final) benefit of the doubt. Carry on. Quote
