I agree that Year 2 Polyjuice variants of the main trio would be great to see in the CMF.  They are variants from a scene that probably wouldn't fit into a future set and would be more interesting than most other possible variants, allowing the option to display Harry and Ron as Crabbe and Goyle.

If Lego ‘bends the rules’ a bit and gives them mid legs (there is precedent with Neville, and Crabbe and Goyle are supposed to be huge) and gives them full printed Slytherin Robes like we got for Gryffindor in series 1, then I think polyjuiced Harry and Ron would be right up there in CMF exclusive detail levels.

I also agree that mid legs would add a lot to those figures if included in the series.  Also worth noting that the Dean Thomas minifigure seems to be a Year 1/2 version (He only seems to wear the scarf in the first two movies, and the Gryffindor flag seems to specifically be from the Quidditch match scene in the first one), so that would be further precedent for mid legs on noticeably taller first/second year students.

Rita Skeeter is another good choice for the CMF.  If James and Lily Potter ever get minifigures, it would have to be in a CMF series, but I'm not sure how likely their inclusion would be.  The Dursleys might be candidates, if their house doesn't get made as a set in the future.  It would also be good to get the other three house ghosts at some point.  Madam Pomfrey is extremely likely, considering the Hospital Wing is already included in the Clocktower set.   Kreacher would be a good choice, but he could also easily be included in a Grimmauld Place set.  Fred and George seem more likely to appear in sets or advent calendars, but perhaps Percy could be in the CMF.

I hope lego stays away from the flying Death Eaters, just like the movies should've done

Ugh, I know. Voldemort being able to fly without a broom was supposed to be super terrifying when it first happened at the beginning of DH. And Snape doing it to flee from McGonagall was supposed to be super shocking. Having everyone turn into smoke trails instead of just apperate was always annoying, and having them color coded based on side was just horrendous.

Next week i will go to the Nürnberg toy fair.

Maybe i hear some news there.

I know last year they didn't tell any news there maybe this year.

I am going there anyway so if not it doesn't matter.

From what I understand Lego have had a "room" with all the good stuff where only people with a special invite to get in during the London and Nurnberg toy fair.. This has at least been the case previously, where the first reports say that it was not much news or thing of interest at the fair, then later someone that has been on the restricted area reports all sorts of secrets and new stuff on display

From the looks of it, I fully expect this year’s TFs not to bring us any noteworthy news, neither today nor at the Nuremberg Toy Fair. I’m making a conscious effort not to set myself up for disappointment this year :snicker:

Lego should just make a hairpiece adequate for Minerva, and another for her Scottish hat. Both Snape and McGonagall should get more versions, they are with no doubt, aside of Dumbledore, the most important teachers (and headmasters xD).

This one works well enough for giving her some hair.

Yeah it would look great on her, but maybe they could also design a hairpiece for her look in DH2, which wasn't already similar to that one. On the other hand, I've never known how to pay to bricklink tho, is it just paypal? Or also a debit/credit card?

There are many different options. But if you're willing to look into BrickLink you should just take some time and read all of the rules/guidelines/how it works/payment methods/shipping etc. It's certainly not something you just do on the fly, especially as every single store has different rules/prices

This is what I used for my repeat of her. Since the Advent Calendar version doesn’t have the other face she gets the hat. My GH version gets the hair to block that second face

If it follows the same pattern as last year, we should get a set list near the end of the January, factory leaks during March and April, and finally an official set reveal in May :classic: Last year we also received a minifig list shortly after LTF, courtesy of a fellow EB member, but that most likely won’t happen again.

Thank you so much! Looks like news will be coming soon then! Really hoping for a Madame Pomfrey CMF minifigure to complete the Hospital Wing!

I think the hair top knot bun would work perfectly in dark tan for McGonagall from philosopher's stone. The general Leia hair in dark bluish gray should work for deathly hallows McGonagall. I don't think they'll do a new specialised piece for her hair but she will definitely need a new hair/hat combo, so does Sprout.

Richard Harris Dumbledore would also benefit from a new hair/hat combo. Funko did him with baby Harry, I think that could work potentially well for a cmf figure, even though we already have him. But with a baby Harry, the hat and a dress piece I think it would still be desirable. At least better than a series 2 Maggie or an Arkham Joker.

They could always do a Privet Drive set and mix some elements from various movies, and get that Dumbledore, Harry, Vernon, Petunia, Dudley and Marge.

Possibly, but if they ever do privet drive they will probably rather do a set based on the ford anglia scene or battle of the seven potters. And new molds are more likely to appear in cmf series.

I'd like a polybag with Hagrid on Sirius's motorbike and baby Harry.

That would be awesome - the only problem is that Hagrid doesn’t fit on the current motorcycle mold, and from what I know we don’t really get new molds in polybags (especially not ones that big).

Now, if, say, a “Flight of the Seven Potters” set came out and introduced a new motorcycle in that set, then a Hagrid and baby Harry polybag would just allow Lego to get their full money’s worth out of the mold.

That's a good point, I've seen a few mocs, but none of them were quite right. In that case a flight of the seven potters set is indeed all we could hope for.

From Brickset:

"Update: Unfortunately, we have been instructed not to share any information about what was on display at the moment."

We can still hope some other people that where on the fair will spill the beans, but the chances are slim :sceptic:
Maybe better luck next week in Nuremberg :shrug_oh_well:

Last year‘s HP sets were neither at the Nuremberg nor at the NY Toy Fair, so don‘t expect them to be on display at either place this year :shrug_confused: The last time a WW set was on display at a toy fair was at the 2018 NYTF where they presented a prototype of the Great Hall set.

Unless there‘s a brave LTF attendee going rogue, we won‘t hear any details for quite some time. Sure, a set list could show up any day now, but for other details we have to wait for parts to leak on IG

We aren't getting another Snape CMF, there aren't any interesting variants for him. He wears the same stuff for his entire life. The only good variant you could have of him is the Boggart one and they already did that. If they wanna do a slightly different Snape (this time his clothes are even darker) they can do it in a set. Like they'll probably include him in the astronomy tower. It's not really CMF material. On the other hand Minerva McGonagall with a new hat mold and her animagus form would make sense in a CMF.
