mihao Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 I am working on my new MOC in LDCad, but when opening it in Studio, the soft axle is missing. Does anyone know how to make up for it? (I really like the rendering function and the instruction maker in Studio, so I have to use it.) Quote
1963maniac Posted July 17, 2019 Posted July 17, 2019 (edited) I do not believe Stud.io supports flex axles yet. But to render it, use the POV option in Stud.io. For instructions, you may hay to just supply a photo to show correct build of the flex axles. You could use LPUB3D to make your instructions, since it is already in an LDRAW format. roland Posted July 19, 2019 Posted July 19, 2019 (edited) You can use any LDCad generated part in studio by storing them in separate files so you can put them in the custom parts folder of studio. mihao Posted July 21, 2019 Author Posted July 21, 2019 Thanks for the replies! There is a "studio designer" app which can import a LDR file easily to studio as a custom part, so I can see my flex axle now in studio. Quote
