I already admitted that I have nothing much to contribute. I'm not one to deeply analyze any half a word someone utters, since I know they're meaningless until we start getting some night action results.

I mean, I kind of agree but night action results aren't really going to come forward Day 2 most likely. We're essentially in a holding pattern.

... do creatures fly in holding patterns?

I sincerely hope that Chromeknight was not revealing himself as the detective with that comment just because I made some fluff day one comment about us needing to be detectives. If Chromeknight wanted to connect with me somehow as the detective, wouldn't it have made more sense for him to have done it through PM? We can PM in this game, right? Other people seem to be doing it, so I'd assume so.

I assumed he was talking about deceives because he was role playing as his character as oppose to soft claiming. But I could be wrong. I really don’t know at this stage.

To be completely honest, I'm not sure what people expected on Day One. I picked quite possibly the weirdest reason to vote for someone because I had absolutely nothing else to go on. Why he then followed me on that lynch is beyond me. He claimed that he wanted to "achieve a lynch", yet he voted for someone that had only one vote on them with a stupid reason for it and didn't give any reason for why he felt that it was a good idea.

I can’t understand why he would jump off an existing bandwagon and then try to start a new one. Aside from spreading out the voting.

I do find it interesting that certain people are trying to find a literal reason for the scum to kill Daphne, when all it really takes to get killed is to be a semi-active player.

Please, tell us more about why the Scum killed Daphne. Sounds like you've got a pretty good idea about what they might have been thinking.

Again I didn't realize what time it was, and seeing it had been quiet for awhile, I decided to try to get some discussion going. And while I'll admit that the fact that there were ten players escaped me while making that post, I don't think remembering would have changed my opinion then nor does it now. Pretty sure there have been twelve player games where a lack of players didn't warrant no day one lynch.

Voting with the intent to lynch shows something vs joke votes which show nothing when everyone is doing it. Whether or not you stick with a vote in search of a lynch is up to one's personal choice. As Chromeknight said, "vote early, vote often".

While I can't really agree with the outcome I thank you for giving us all your reasoning.

Yesterday was rather useless. Nothing of consequence happened which isn't good for Day One. With only ten people, perhaps it was a good thing that we didn't lynch anybody. I know in the past I'm a proponent of a Day One lynch, so perhaps that's hypocritical. Daphne voted for Tyrion yesterday, perhaps that's something to look into?

Chromeknight revealing a role on day 1 feels far fetched to me. I guess its possible he was the detective but I seriously doubt he would reveal something like that for no purpose what so ever. I think we may be looking too much into a day 1 comment. Also yes, PM'ing is allowed. I'm surprised Tyrion has not sent you some wine and memes.

I'm not sure what you expected to happen. We've all been in this situation before, there's no rookies blurting out their roles in public or getting into fights with each other.

Of course it would be easy if there were people like that among us, but we didn't come here to have it easy, did we?

I do agree about over analyzing fluff is not the best strategy, but it will probably be awhile before we start getting night actions results. Do you really want to stand around and let the scum take more of us before deciding now is a good time to start solving the problem?

One might not condone voting without giving a reason, but I feel it's unnecessary in this particular case. Here's to you.

I never said Chromeknight softclaimed, nor would I ever suggest he would be stupid. What I'm saying is the Scum may have flown off their handles about him responding to the word detective. I've found Trekkie's behavior weird, I think Sandy always plays Scummy, and yes that's metagaming but the odd way Bob got to saying "detective" in the first place, a weird and almost forced list of three in order to say the word of a known Mafia role leads me to suspect him the most. Maybe that's dumb, so maybe I'm dumb.

I didn't say anything about not doing anything. I was merely answering to our elven friend who claimed I was speaking without saying anything. If I had remained silent, she still would've said I ping scummy.

Tauriel is an aggressive player, with her it's damned if you do (speak) and damned if you don't (speak). So, I'm not going to hush hush, darling!

I find Sandy's attitude anti-town, and saying she hopes Daphne wasn't the cop smacks almost of congratulating scum for Chromeknight's death. To reiterate for Karie's benefit:

Vote: Kylo Ren (Sandy)

I also find it interesting that Tyrion has tacitly endorsed my vote while instead giving a token prod to a silent cosplayer, and curious also that Tauriel has contrived to vote for Bob over the use of a single word. I mean, Tauriel could have voted for me because I used phrase "vigilante mob business", but no dice. It seems like Tyrion and Tauriel are at arm's length, pointing a great big finger but not doing anything about it.

You can vote me, sure, but I really don't understand what you're saying.

If I say I hope Daphne wasn't the cop (since people pointed out she's a detective character and all), that means I'm congratulating the scum... What?! *huh*

 I just realized that Daphne meant she's a detective in cosplay. Still, and again, it wasn't her reaction I was worried about. It was the weird fishing expedition from Bobbo that pinged me.

And as far as you being damned if you speak and damned if you don't... what? First of all, I'd be much happier if you didn't speak, because you never say anything. Your Town game is always Scummy, but voting for someone because "You're damned if you speak and damned if you don't..." how would that make me Scum exactly? Annoying you doesn't make someone Scummy.

Voldemort or Sirius Black or whoever the hell Sandy is, because his signature still says Admiral Piett, is pinging me twice today now. First, she gives us reasoning for why the Scum killed Daphne, now she's placed a vote because...she doesn't like my questions? Not that I'm Scummy, but that my behavior is obnoxious. Doesn't seem pro-Town...however, I've gotten him lynched in the past for similar behavior and he's turned up Town.

Yeah where is our smell ninja friend? Also why do you condone Black Canary's vote? Do you not want valid reason for anything anyone does?

Well the way you said it it seems as if you were purposely going to not analyze very much until the night actions rolled in, which would be doing very little for quite awhile.

Anit-town, well that's very specific. I think voting with little reasoning or no reasoning to be very anti-town. Could you please provide some reasons of your own as to why you think Mr. Ren is anti-town?

I think Black Cannery is acting a bit scary as of late. The first vote with no reasoning was odd but then she gives a reason saying nothing other then Ren is anti-town and he congratulating the scum. At the very least I want a better excuse for a vote. Tyrion's acceptance of the first vote is also super odd. This is not day 1 anymore, simply voting and accepting votes for nothing should not fly on such a day.

(1) I mean it is odd, but maybe it was somewhat of a joke saying the vote was self explanatory? That's how I viewed it at first anyway.

Anti Town is an interesting choice of phrase. Since it implies scum or third party. The latter of which we have no reason to believe exists as of yet. Note he also voted before voting had even began. He was clearly eager to get the vote in despite not giving any initial reasoning.

With aggressive I meant pushy, and time has shown it's a perfect place for the scum to hide. Rarely do people vote out those who are pushing and prodding others since they seem to be contributing to the town's cause - but of course scum know who to push and who to not.

IMO, despite it seeming like a great hiding spot, scum don't do this. Unless scum just conveniently started doing this now which would mean Hinckley is scum and your town, and not the other way around lol.

Trust me, it's been done plenty before.

I know I'm town, and I know I need to vote someone. I am ready to change my vote if a more convincing case is presented, though.

I'm not known to hold back a lynch either.
