Realm of Wytheria

The Realm of Wytheria is an independent kingdom of Avalonia under the rule of King Cedric Woodgard. Cedric became the ruler after the banishment of King Rhonnen Physcere...at the time of his coronation he was only 13.  The Realm of Wytheria has large port in the capital city of Direhold where it opens trade with all the other cities and Kingdoms of Avalonia. Off the Northern shore of Wytheria lies the Elven Island of Elgeria under the rule of the Eleven King, Theolen. They elves of Elgeria and the inhabitants of Wytheria are very close and work together to defend their kingdom and the lands of Wytheria. They are always ready to answer the call of the King of Avalonia if he should need their help.

Hi Cedric, as long as Wytheria can fit somewhere within the established lore of Historica, this is the place for you! The first thing to do is to read through the first posts (you don't need to read the whole thing unless you want to) of the New Member Guide, as well as to browse the different Guilds (Avalonia, Kaliphlin, Mitgardia, Varlyrio) to see which you would like to join. There is room in any of them for a new kingdom, with its own lore, stories, and adventure, as long as it can "play nice" with others; that is, no claiming to be the most powerful this-or-that that the world had ever seen, or something of that sort. You'll find that most of us are inspired by LotR, GoT, HP, Narnia, and countless other books, movies, and video games. It all fits in here, somewhere. 

If, on the other hand, you want to tell your own story and not have to fit into any sort of pre-existing framework, as loose as it is, perhaps posting your story in the main Historic Themes forum is the way to go. 

I hope you will choose to build here, though! If you need any help choosing a guild, or have any need of advice, ask in the New Member Guide, or in a particular guild's thread, and someone will be delighted to help. I'd recommend Avalonia, myself, but I am a bit biased as the leader of that fine Guild...

i am thinking Avalonia, how can I join?

If possible I would like to be a King in the North Western portion of Avalonia, with my lands being called Wytheria, I would prefer it to be bordering the sea so I could have a small Elven Island known as Elgeria of the coast.  Let me know if this works,Thank you!

Hi there and welcome to the guilds!  If you are interested in Avalonia, probably the best place to post is here:

That's the signup thread for Avalonia for the current book, and you can read about the guild, etc., and get a feel for how things are organized.  If you post your idea for an elven island kingdom within the borders of Avalonia, the guild leaders can help you figure out how to get it to fit within the current Avalonian story.  I posted my ideas in the thread a while back and people were helpful trying to iron out the details.  We used to have a border system, but now it's more free and you can say "one of those islands" is yours, without having to be too specific.
