Lovely building, with a great colour combination and roof!

Great building. The roof looks awesome. I also like the simplicity and balance of the facade.

Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad you like it.

I actually started to make a roof with dark brown Slope 75 2 x 1 x 3 (https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?id=100702#T=C) but it didn't turn out too good. A stroke of good luck, I guess.

Looks great! What are the curve pieces used for the roof called please?

Thanks!

It's just two different pieces, https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=6005 and https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=18653

At the bottom of every second column, there's a plate to make it a bit off set.

How the other half live eh? Seriously though, another great build - the roof design is excellent and I really like the balconies too!

Excellent stuff!!

Thank you! Well, some people have to live like this:

The roof is almost hypnotic! The regular pattern with the offset looks really cool. And of course, dark green ftw!

I can't tell what the design is in the ground-floor windows--is it a custom sticker or an official TLG sticker/printed part?

Thank you! Maybe I should put a warning sign on the roof. I like dark green, it's dense, but more vivid than black.

The windows on the ground floor  are from the Brick Bank.

The roof is good but the stairs are excellent: the use of the red panel with SNOT technique is a real masterpiece!

As usual the minifigs are lovely (I like the woman with the lobster)

Thank you for your kind words! I'm pretty sure I didn't invent the way to build the stairs, but it adds some extra flair.

The woman used to live in a less prosperous part of the town, but has now moved up the ladder and can afford lobsters every day.

Very clever way to build a trolley!

Thanks! I like to build ordinary things sometimes.

As I'm getting older, I might need a walker in a not too distant future (well, I turn 50 this year):

I really like the balconies, esp with the roof for it.

Thank you! I'm glad you like it.

Very classy facade indeed!

I really like the use of the 'ingot' pieces in grey. It adds a realistic texture and breaks up the facade nicely. The roof is also a very interesting design - I really like it

Thank you! I like to give the facade some structure, without over doing it. It's a fine line, and sometimes hard to know when enough is enough,

This looks great. I love the wavy pattern and shaping of the roof!

Thanks! The roof turned out really well. I tried with dark brown Slope 75 2 x 1 x 3 (https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?id=100702#T=C) but it didn't like it.

I need to remember the way you made that red stairwell. Don't know if this method is used in other MOC's, but I haven't seen it yet. It gives a really nice carpet feel.

Please do remember! I'm pretty sure I've seen this solution before, so I won't claim to be the inventor.
