[MOC] Volvo Excavadrone - Lego Ideas contest

Hello!
I show here my entry to the latest Lego Ideas contest: the Volvo Excavadrone.

 

 

This project born in my mind in the middle of the contest: at the beginning I was thinking about a modular construction machine, but it was not something “special”.

Then I started thinking out of the box, and a flying machine was born!

 

 

 

All functions are manual:

• Arm and bucket movement, with 3 Las
• Turret rotation
• Solar panel movement
• Flipping wheels/propellers
• Detachable operator cab
• Independent suspensions

 

 

 

 

The model was a runner up winner of the contest, so I’m really proud of it. I hope you like it too.

The solution is water spray ;-)

Come on, it is just a contest, fantasy can go further than reality.
