sawyer klegr Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 (edited) This lego great ball contraption module uses technic "banana" gear to lift the balls up. It does put a bit of stress on the parts but it doesn't leave any damage. They are at a bit more of a angle than Maico Arts original version wich was 1.5 studs apart, this way it can be higher and run smoother. The stepper mechanism uses two lift arms on each step, this helps it run smoother and with less force on the motor. The LDD file is here. Edited September 30, 2018 by sawyer klegr To add a photo. Ankoku Posted September 30, 2018 Posted September 30, 2018 Great work. I love how smooth it is. I was kinda expecting to hear the balls on the teeth of the curves more. That said, the sound of it running is still soothing. Well done! Quote
9v system Posted October 1, 2018 Posted October 1, 2018 good use of the bucket wheels, the only thing that bugging me is that there is no black thing on the end Quote
RohanBeckett Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 Another great module Sawyer! You are really coming up with a lot of good mechanical ideas! Quote
