Class 5 Brig, "RSND Dolphin"

With the construction of the new Quinnsville shipyards, the shipwrights have been rather busy! One of the shipyards most recent additions that they have produced is a lightly armed brig.

Even though it carries only 8 guns, they are 8 rather large 32 pounders.

It has a small but well lit stern, thanks to its 6 lanterns.

To make up for it's small number of guns, it is stocked with plenty of weapons in case a conflict involves a boarding.

The Captain's quarters, is small but includes everything one might need on a short voyage.

Thanks for checking out my ship! I built this back in January, before I even joined BotBS, but I figured it would be a nice addition to my other ships. C&C are welcome and appreciated!

Your xebecs are well built but this is even better! I like the tumblehome and the details on the stern, and the railings. The sails and rigging look great too,

I think this is easily your best ship yet! The lower deck and interior details are great, and the overall level of detailing is excellent too. To me it feels like a modern take on classical Lego ship designs, which I like a lot. Well done!

I like the way you did the railing and the sides, nice brig!
Also excellent work on the sails, nice to see them on the bowsprit too.

What flag/coat of arms is she flying in the sails? Corrington alternative?

Thank you!

Well, I origially built it for Lego ideas, so the coat of arms isn't necessarily corrington, but it does have red and white in it. I was headed out of town and I was to lazy to render more photos... glad you like though!

Somehow I missed this one ... Its a fine ship indeed ... It looks very playable.  My favorite features are the triple lamps the colors and the clever railings of droid arms and flex tube

Thank you! I originally built it for Lego Ideas, which is why it's got so many play features and such. I'm glad you like it!

I just noticed that this ship is currently a "staff pick" on the Lego Ideas page. Congratulations!

Thanks! It got about 200 supporters because of it too!
