msk6003 Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 (edited) Hello! I make my first 42070 C model! After 42070 was offical relise, I found sariel's 42070 B model video. And it is very stupied and not working well, so many unused parts, and so on! So I made this truck. It aslo have so many unused parts, BUT very strong for trial, very robust, and.. anyway, let's see video first. Function XL motor for drive M motor for steering Rear wheel has swing type suspension Inline-4-engine No clutch or differential gear both drive and steering Small bin for remote Very robust. Can pickup truck put anyware even bull bar or rear end! Edited October 25, 2017 by msk6003 Quote
BrickbyBrickTechnic Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 Add a crane to this, and you have what 42070 should have been. Great job Quote

Jurss Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 I'm about that sliding connection. I haven't noticed thing like that (I'm not so long in lego and technics) Quote

But this model don't include 7L lack gear so I used sliding soluction. Quote
Sariel Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 I think that other than the body looking a bit too narrow, this looks like a huge improvement over the disaster that the official B-model is :) Quote

MattL600 Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 Maybe work on the front fascia otherwise great work! While 42070's design is poor, it is great to know that you can make a trail truck from it :) Quote
Aventador2004 Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 I understand you have just adjusted body and gearing correct? that looks exactly the same, besides the rear. Quote
Leonardo da Bricki Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 Wow. Did not think that something this good could come out of that set... Great work! Quote

Agreed, honestly it would look so much better if the design was a Humvee or something a little more original :3 Quote
