It does still look too boxy as several others have said... but any improvement is a good thing As for the pictures. They are not bad, the background is good. Just watch the focus of the camera, as some pictures were blurry (especially visible in the picture with the fork). Ok, I will work on that, I was in a rush. Quote

Aventador2004 Posted August 11, 2017 Author Posted August 11, 2017 sorry for double post, i need to add pics of most likely final version. changed structure, and asked colleague to try and break it. he couldn't tear it apart, only remove some parts. final? maybe. Quote
BrickbyBrickTechnic Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 I hope this isn't the final version. While this is still much of an improvement, the cabin is extremely boxy and greatly hurts the look of the telehandler overall, as the rest is quite good. The forks are also extremely crude, I would like to see a better solution. Good job so far, wish you luck! BrickbyBrickTechnic Quote

BrickbyBrickTechnic I think the athstetics are maybe all that is left to do, but chassis is good, and strong. I will see what I can do about the cabin, maybe I can move hog to other side, and add other things. Quote
1gor Posted August 12, 2017 Posted August 12, 2017 Well progress is obvious, so I'll wait for final version Quote

I like the above version better, but I will leave these here to see another way. Door is there (bad pics sorry...) New forks. Is the cab better @BrickbyBrickTechnic? Bonus if you spot a person.... TechnicRCRacer Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 I like it the way it is now! Very nice model with good colors! Quote

It is summer time in northern hemisphere so we have to enjoy as much as we can. Yesterday afternoon I was "brainstorming" about LEGO (since I have to take my eyes away from sun next 3 werks) and made Xerion tire with 111mm diameter that looks like original and can be used in future to fit my new scale for modeld 1:17,5; so I can make lots of trucks (european with common 315/80R22.5, U.S. trucks with common 11R24.5, tractors and similar with group 46 (1855 mm diameter tire), group 47 tire (1955 mm diameter tire, telehandlers... I have big plans for future; but first will be to rebuild Unimog - because it is the most challenging because of portal axles...) Regards Quote
Aventador2004 Posted August 14, 2017 Author Posted August 14, 2017 Forgot these, I changed the cab a bit, plus a door and seat. I am considering it 99% done, and need the parts. I don't usually have a model together this long. Fork Log collector Hay grabber I hope this is satisfying as much as it is for me. Quote
BrickbyBrickTechnic Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 Nice! The only thing that looks bad is the cabin, but seeing as you tried to improve it, I think you could stick with it. The different forks n' stuff you have are very cool. Good job overall Quote

1gor Posted August 14, 2017 Posted August 14, 2017 First of all congratulation on your promotion to become Count. I think finished model is good. My models must have fake engines and drive so I'm not the one to judge realisticaly but I find your work nice. BTW I'll keep all my models after Unimog assembled Quote

I could not integrate drivetrain without another hub, a very small one. Quote
