AllanSmith Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 (edited) My Speed Champions layout at the Taupo Hobby Expo 2017 in New Zealand. Contains a Drive In Movie theater, Car Showroom with rotating sign and turntable, Service Center with working pneumatic hoist, Motorbike Shop, Car Wash with moving brushes. Lots of lighting effects. Building roofs were removed for better viewing. More close up photos and videos to come. Enjoy. Edited July 18, 2017 by AllanSmith Quote
sunhuntin Posted July 19, 2017 Posted July 19, 2017 Nice one! A model railway friend of mine mentioned wanting to go up, but had to work on Saturday. I hope you had a great weekend. I love the KITT with the lights. Quote
RacerRabbit Posted July 20, 2017 Posted July 20, 2017 This looks great!! I want to make an SC themed world myself but I hardly have any space at all...... Quote

Thanks. I built all the buildings (except for car wash) on 48 x 48 baseplates due to the size of the SC vehicles. I also made the footpath compatible with the Modulars so I can include those if I want too. Quote

Nightfall Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 Very nice layout, so many great details to see. My favorites are the hoist and the car wash. Quote
