Where can I go to discuss electronics with Lego. Specifically lighting

The best general thread is the Technic forum. But if you're looking to set up lighting for a specific set, I'd recommend going to the section it fits in. For example, lighting the a Pirate set would go in the Pirate forum.

Hi! I'm new here so I'm asking for some informations: I recently posted my MOC project (Talisman: The Magical Quest Game) in Special LEGO Themes forum, but I couldn't choose the MOC tag, and the maximum size for uploading images didn't allow me to add a good quality photo... Have I misunderstood something? How can I fix it?

Thank you for the help, sorry for bothering you,

Bye for now

Hi,

Regarding the pictures; we don't host pictures on Eurobricks itself. You need to use an external hosting provider. Bricksafe is a free provider where you can upload your pictures and use the image url to embed them in your topic.

What do mean by not being able to add the MOC tag? You can't add tags at all or just MOC?

Posted

Thank you for answering!

I will do what you said for the images, thank you!

For the tag instead I have to admit I am not able to add any tag... If you could explain me how to do it, I will be extremely grateful!

Also, is there a way I can delete wrong posts?

Thank you for everything!

Is EB running really slow for anyone else today (starting in the last hour or so)? It takes a long time to load every page... and sometimes it doesn't load properly. Is this an issue for other people or just me?

Posted

Yup, agreed. I have the same issues. We are looking into it. Thanks

We did some tweaking and situation should be back to normal. Thanks for reporting it.

Usually when you report spam, it doesn't allow for a second report. Either the post reporting feature is broken, or the thing that makes it not able to second report is.... not sure. Anybody have any ideas what's going on? Or if it's not going through at all?

On a related note, I think i accidently reported a thread / post twice today in Train Tech.... usually it doesn't let you do that, and I wasn't sure if had previously reported it. (Sorry about that if i did!)

This sounds a bit contradicting. Not sure what you mean. So you can report a post a second time now? Maybe it's by design after upgrading the board?

You can test reporting on this post if you want.

Yes, I can report a second time. It wasn't like this earlier in the week.

What did you see when you tried last week? Did you get an error message or something?

It had a message pop up that said 'You have already reported this", or something to that effect. It has always displayed that message when reporting a post twice - until very recently, that is.

@Jim (and any other moderator who sees this post) General LEGO Discussions and the HELP forum are filling up with spam threads at a rate I can't keep up with by reporting them all. Thus, I'm reporting it here.

I have to say it's nice that they just make new topics instead of going crazy and posting in actual topics of discussion that have been going on.

Just letting you know, there are still a handful of spam threads over in Town forum. Thank you for all that the EB staff do for us users!

Okay thanks. Will take a look tomorrow.

And thank you for letting us know

Can't find them anymore. I reckon these users have been marked as Spammers. Let me know if you still find some.
