can  I use it to up and down lift a trunk like the one in 42029?

Yes, but if it lift that trunk, it will work like a catapult :D

It won't work. Servo turns only 45 degrees in one way. So you would need to put a lot of gears before the actuator to extend it to its full length but at the same time a lot of gears mean a lot of slack and resistance.

Actually it turns 90 degrees each way, but that doesn't change your conclusion of course.

Ok and M motor don't work with v2?

Why not?

As said by Philo in this topic:

Noise suppressing capacitor in the M-motor is far too large, causing high current surges that fools V2 motor driver into believing that it's output is shorted. Generally V2 works fine with only one M-motor, but not with two M-motors on the same output.

As for your main question, you can use the servo for whatever you want, it's just a motor that doesn't turn all the way round.
