jamiejme Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 Hello Eurobricks! I present to you my first ever topic and my first everMOC! I tried to create something simple to ease my way into the world of MOCs. Being a lover of clone wars i thought this was a good place to start. The build turned out to be very challenging, especially since I was using LDD, but i'm happy with the result. The basic ring design is inspired by Swan Dutchman's Jedi Interceptor and Booster Ring. The Interceptor is LEGO's own release. The rest is of original design. It comes to about 1300 pieces including the fighter, so I don't plan on building this in real bricks. Any criticism or otherwise is welcome, thank you for viewing! Jamie Quote
VaderFan2187 Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 Looks very nice @jamiejme! Though I would suggest removing those large grey panels on top of the ship, or perhaps add other colors on it :) Quote
Ellisss_2 Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 Hello, @jamiejme! Your model looks fantastic, I actually like the large panels on top of the ship. This is great for your first post and MOC, I look forward to seeing more! May I suggest finding a different piece for the boosters (2573) at the back, they cost over $40 on Bricklink. Kind regards, Ellis. Quote

I couldn't find a better way to do this so I settled with the method. I'll have another revision of it though. 2 hours ago, Ellisss_2 said: Hello, @jamiejme! I have to agree that the rest section needs work, I might comeback to it later when I have learned some new techniques to tackle this portion. 2 hours ago, JACKATTACKS said: Nice build! Good job.
