BubbaFit45531 Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 (edited) I recently found two relatively nice mechas where the creators were nice enough to share the instructions. They were both older creations and I'd like to see what they made after ball joints became more readily available. Who are the top MOC creators to pay attention to, especially when newer parts are available? The finest minifigure scale Gundam RX-78-2 I've seen was GYUTA's. BubbaFit45531 Posted March 26, 2017 Author Posted March 26, 2017 I finally gathered enough parts to try to make a MOC based on a nice looking MOC's instructions where it only showed one angle so it was hard to see the assembly of parts in the back. Very disappointed to see the thing barely stays together! What's the point if the thing falls apart when you barely touch it? The legs also seem way too long compared to the arms. I might just give up on it without completing it. I also had a successful copy cat MOC build after using Lego Digital Designer to make a prototype based on only one photo from one angle. I switched out some parts and now it looks nice. Quote
-zenn Posted March 27, 2017 Posted March 27, 2017 (edited) Show us some pic's; maybe we can help you out with the construction. ;) Don't give up, sometimes it just asks a few tries before something works out! Edited March 27, 2017 by -zenn Quote
