dr_spock Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 The Grand Road of Nelisa is full of dangers. A simple cut can lead to gangrene. Doctor Spock brings his mobile gangrene treatment clinic to Nelisa. A free walking stick is included with the price of every treatment. The nurse applies anesthetic to the patient using the empty bottles technique. Sometimes Doctor Spock's surgical strikes get out of hand. Mobile Gangrene Treatment by dr_spock_888, on Flickr Quote
Legostone Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 ...Well, at least you have some spare parts, although your doctors don't seem to be the ones I would trust if my life would depend on them:D And why does he swing his axe up to the middle of the torso? He doesn't want to..., right? Quote
Kai NRG Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Remind me never to get hurt along the Nelissa road. Neat mobile apparatus! And judging by the amount of blood that guy's lost, he should probably have passed out already - and no wonder he's white as a sheet! Quote
Kwatchi Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Fun little vignette. The doctor's aim seems to be off with that patient on the table mind you. Quote
Capt Wolf Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Fun build, but remind me not to visit that doctor! The supply of green legs in his cart is quite disconcerting! Perhaps the Fontonajos need to do something about this apparent gangrene epidemic! Quote
Elostirion Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 The cart is fantastic! Thanks for your creative entry and contribution to the challenge! :-) Quote
Tezclatipoca Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Funny vig ! I don't envy your patients Dr Spock... So many legs lost to feed the alligators (BTW, Your surgeon should be careful to the one ready to catch his next meal...); Maybe this road is not safe at all. I think Felipe will avoid to travel on it. Nice build and the cart is very well designed. Good job ! Quote
Sir Stig Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 Great use of heads with fitting expressions Quote

I think he wanted to scare the patient unconscious if the empty rum bottles to the head method didn't work. On 11/17/2016 at 7:22 AM, Kai NRG said: Remind me never to get hurt along the Nelissa road. That's blood from the previous patients. Medicine back in the BoBS era wasn't quite as sanitized as today. I think blood-letting was a common practice to treat aliments back then. It's a walk-in, hobble-out clinic. On 11/17/2016 at 8:58 AM, Kwatchi said: Fun little vignette. The doctor's aim seems to be off with that patient on the table mind you. Thanks. Maybe he had too much rum in making those empty bottles for the nurse to use. On 11/17/2016 at 0:11 PM, Capt Wolf said: Fun build, but remind me not to visit that doctor! Perhaps the Fontonajos can invent pencillin. On 11/17/2016 at 2:29 PM, Elostirion said: The cart is fantastic! Thanks for your creative entry and contribution to the challenge! :-) Thanks. I think medical, life and travel insurance might be a good idea to obtain before going on the road. On 11/17/2016 at 5:19 PM, Sir Stig said: Great use of heads with fitting expressions Thanks. Quote
