This MOC was an idea that i had revisited after a year. I originally made the chassis to be a stand alone model, but then I added a very simple body. The bodywork is not modeled after any buggy in specific.

Specs:

-2 XL motors

-1 servo

-1 receiver

-1 aaa bat-box

-RWD

And the two XL motors, one for each wheel, they are not connected.

Any feedback would be dearly appreciated. :sweet:

Looks great, awesome video! But I was wondering, you seemed to almost only go downhill in the video, did you have problems with torque gearing the motors up that much with the large wheels? I've made cars driven by 2 XLs at that ratio with smaller tires and they have problems going. Or maybe my batteries were low... Either way awesome creation! Definetely revisiting the baja genre when I get some unimog tires!

Thanks for all the compliments! Yeah, it's fast downhill and on flat ground, but does lack enough torque for good uphill speeds. I'm anxious to see your future Baja buggy/truck.

Ye I've made a few before I Joined, and just haven't taken the time to post them. They're on my youtube tho, if you wanna see, maybe get some inspiration or somethin...

Looks great but I think the front suspension could have had a larger caster angel to be able to transverse the stairs better.

Very effective suspension  The simple body looks very nice and fitting fora Baja vehicle :classic:

Thank you very much for all the compliments.

The pictures don't do it justice, the caster angle is actually about perfect, maybe it could use a tiny bit more. However, I would not add too much since it was a problem I had with the original chassis from last year.

This has one of the coolest truck bodies I have ever seen! The chassis is great, too. Can we expect instructions?

Ehh, maybe for the chassis, not the body work.

Really liked your video editing and music. Its a bit of a downhill racer, but that doesn't bother me. The speed makes it worth the low torque gearing.

Love it!

Pretty crazy ride you got there

Thanks guys, glad you liked it!

Thank you, I worked hard on the video and your right it is a downhill racer, it's so much fun go drive at high speeds, the only problem is the terrible range of the PF IR system.
