Vader Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 As pointed out in another thread the new trailer for the Dark Knight is now online, you can check it out at the link below. http://www.atasteforthetheatrical.com/deathtrap/default.htm My first thoughts are this looks great, even though i'm not to sure of the paint faced joker. Would of been better if he had the original acid faced look, but hey it could be worse. Quote

Clothing is custom, nothing in his pockets but knives and lint." But Nolan is a fantastic director, his movie Memento was mindblowing to say the least, and I have confidence in this one. (especially that Goyer's now gone, he was the one so focused on lines like : "Nice coat", "Nice ride" and "I gotta get me one of those") Nothing to Say, but Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote

Would of been better if he had the original acid faced look, but hey it could be worse. Maybe the dye/paint is fused into his face, or becomes that way during the film. Anyhow, it really does look fantastic. It seems to be really focusing on the 'dark' side of the Dark Knight. Sadly the new Bat-garage looks a little threadbare. Maybe he should get some... new Batmobiles :-D ;-) "Evening... Commissioner." Quote
AzMean Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 nice... now who will make a MOC of the Bat bike! hehe.. but can't see much from the video. will be looking forward to this movie! :'-) Quote
casewindu Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 OOO! that new Joker is menacing to say the least! 8- Quote

Maybe he should get some... new Batmobiles :-D ;-) ____________ You never quit do you? :-P But I do love that they are making it more (for lack of a better word) Dark. The director, Chris Nolan, made a couple of statements which I love: "A place like Gotham didn't become the way it is by accident, a lot of people will be opposing the dark knight". "It's all about things having to get worse before they get better" :'-) ____________ I coulnd't agree to you more. This movie will be awesome. *wub* ____________ That it will be my friend, that it will be ;-) Nothing to Say, but Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote
Johnny 5 Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 I can't wait!! I can't wait!! I can't wait!! Ever since the end of Batman Begins I've been on the edge of my seat waiting for this one. Quote
Batbrick Posted December 21, 2007 Posted December 21, 2007 BTW, has anyone seen the Dark Knight Prologue? It's the six minutes of footage they play before I Am Legend in IMax theatres. I gave in to temptation and watched it on youtube, with decent quality. One thing I can say though: Awesome :'-) Nothing to Say, but Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote
iamded Posted December 22, 2007 Posted December 22, 2007 Tumbler... *wub* The Joker in this is... I dunno. He's more angry psycho and happy psycho. Like, he rarely smiles (except for the make-up, you know) unlike most other versions of The Joker, when he's near always smiling like a lunatic. I think that's the main thing that strikes me about this Joker. The Bat-pod is nice too, and it's good to see it didn't completely replace the Tumbler. Mmm, Tumbler... *wub* Man, I can't wait to get that set! :-D ~Peace Quote

He doesn't need to have scars or makeup, he doesn't even need those to be scary. The Joker was always scary BECAUSE he was happy during moments where no one should be. I really hope he still turns out like that. Nothing to say, but Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote

I went to go see I Am Legend yesterday in Imax. WHats cool,is there is no warning of the Dark Night trailer. I actually thought i was watching the begining of I Am Legend. Didn't realise what i was watching intill the Joker unmasked himself. Seemed alot longer than 6 minutes. Absolutly incredable on Imax! Felt like i got to movies in one! Quote
Johnny 5 Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 So what was in the imax? Was it six minutes of the dark knight movie? Or was it like a bridge between batman begins and the dark knight? Quote

Or was it like a bridge between batman begins and the dark knight? ___________ Six minutes of The Dark Knight ;-) It was really cool, I can't wait to see it in IMax! :'-) And not one scene, but FOUR MAJOR SCENES are shot in IMax, so I and everone who watches it at that theatre head's will explode when they/we see it! Nothing to Say, but Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote

Batbrick Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 First look at Two-Face via a blurry Two-Face action figure, set to be released coinciding with the films release: Link here: http://www.darkhorizons.com/news08/080220c.php Gotta say, I love it. I wasn't expecting it to look perfectly half in half given the realism of the new films but this is great to me. Realistic, horrible scarring, a bulging, useless eye, and though not totally evenly split, still easily recognisable as having Two Faces! :'-) Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote
CF Mitch Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 So... there's gonna be a Two Face in TDK ? 8- Quote
