Governor Mister Phes Posted April 29, 2005 Governor Posted April 29, 2005 What does everyone do on the weekend? Do we go out and party all night? Do we work or study? Do we spend time with family? Do we play sports or participate in an activity group? Right now I'm biding time by posting here and having my refreshments before heading out for the night... What do you do? Quote
eDeevo Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 I spend time with my wife and our daughter (& our beagle ;) )... I love that kid... Life is Good. Quote

Orlego Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 I work, that is it. I work. Well... really... that is almost the truth; I sleep for 3 hours each day. It has been very difficult lately. I now work two jobs and seem to have no time for my fianc Quote
SuvieD Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 It really depends on the weekend. I like to have friends over and play stategy board games like Risk 2210 or Twilight Imperium, I would build with Lego or spend some time with family/friends. I also would do some grilling and go camping if it is warm enough. Many weekends I help out at my church with my youth group or the Sunday school children. After service on Sunday morning I like to play (American) football in the church yard. Some weekends I go hang out with a Lego group that meets a persons house and we talk about . . . stuff that we talk about here at Eurobricks. We also show off our lastest hauls or new sets or mocs. Every once in a while I get a weekend at to myself where I can do whatever I want :oD and usually end up sorting my lego :'( I rarely post or even go online on the weekend as time is too precious and I can never seem to have enough of it. Sorry to hear about your 3 hours of sleep each night. *wacko* That can't be good for you. :^^D I hope things get better soon. Quote
Wolf04 Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 I celebrate Easter this weekend (April 30 - May 1). I don't celebrate the one in March because that's the Catholic Easter and I'm Orthodox. I'm planning to go to the local Romanian church and then maybe to a party. Quote
jonfett Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 Well, apart from keeping a close eye on the goings on here ;) ... I like to go out with my friends to the cinema etc.. I play for a football team, and often go play at a snooker center (snooker not football!). Of course, I have to do a bit of school work (exams in June *wacko* ) and I have a part time job in a restaurant. When I am at home or online, I like to look at various Lego sites and I spend a few hours a day (if I have time) to play about with sets or work on a couple of mocs. Jon. Quote

I have exams too at the end of June but I don't worry about them too much. I mean, I think of it just as a test. I was almost peeing my pants in Grade 9 at my first exam but now, I really don't care that much. Quote
xwingyoda Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 As for me, I take some time off this harrasing space hunting :-D Seriously, it all depends if I stay in Paris or not. If I stay in Paris, I'll do chores that I don't have time to do during the week, I'll go to movies, bars, restaurants. I'll do a little lego shopping and I'll watch the F1 on sundays, or play tennis, or play pool, go swimming, play squash... And of course I'm building a little, play video games, having fun on these boards. If I leave Paris, I'm off to my uncle's house in Sologne, a big house lost in the woods. I'll play with his dogs, cats, play soccer with my little cousins, cook... Oh well, week-ends offer so much possibilities in so little time... Quote
Darth_Ewok Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 Build lego, play Xbox, go to friends houses to build more lego and to destroy it in Brikwars. thats pretty much my weekend! ;) Quote
The Middleman Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 LEGO, a lot of schoolwork, community service, movies (a lot of them), anime, and a lot of reading. And, of course, tons of internet usage. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 30, 2005 Author Governor Posted April 30, 2005 Duuuuuuuudes... I'm so frazzled after last night... Too much grog...... Quote
ApophisV Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 My weekend... lemme think.... If there isn't any THW services I have to do (once or twice the month) and if I haven't to work I mostly sleep till 10 or 12 o'clock and then.... I suffer..... *sick* At the evening I go out to prepare my next day's suffering ;) Seriously: Besides going out for having some beers and party I build with my Legos, visit my parents, have friends for visit and such stuff... Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted May 1, 2005 Author Governor Posted May 1, 2005 There are so many accronyms in the world these days... What does THW stand for? Quote
Wolf04 Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 Well this weekend was kind of cool. Sunday, it was Easter so Saturday night at about 9:00 pm I went to one of my friend's house, at 12:00 am, we went to church and stayed there for an hour and finally we returned to his house again and stayed until 6:00 am....heavy.... Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted May 1, 2005 Author Governor Posted May 1, 2005 Wasn't Easter a month ago? It was here anyway... Quote
Wolf04 Posted May 1, 2005 Posted May 1, 2005 People are so ignorant these days... :/ http://www.holidays.net/easter/ Easter will be celebrated on Sunday March 27, 2005. Greek/Orthodox Easter will be celebrated Sunday, May 01st, 2005. I'm Orthodox!!! Quote
Norro Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 It really depends on the weekend. I like to have friends over and play stategy board games like Risk 2210 or Twilight Imperium, Strategy board games is a habit I picked up in Canada. When it was -50 (celsius :oo ) and we were snowed in (or in that case there was a freeze warning) me and friends would all go get stuck at some house together and play axis and allies to the death ;) . Occassionaly we would settle for Serinnissama (I can't remember how to speel it in the slightest).... A and A anyone? God Bless, Nathan Quote

WesternOutlaw Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 disregard, didn't realize this was an old thread. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted May 2, 2005 Author Governor Posted May 2, 2005 I'm at a loss to what you two are talking about, but did you have good weekends? Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted May 2, 2005 Posted May 2, 2005 I had a darling game a Crochet while sipping diluted red wine being carful to spill any on my new waistcoat. Quote
WesternOutlaw Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 I enjoy reading and writing the various posts in the train mystery. I actually look forward to getting on line every day seeing what new clues will be uncovered and providing more. It's a great way to relax and unwind. Quote
Sarg_Kulo Posted May 3, 2005 Posted May 3, 2005 I actually just lounged about, read a bit, played splinter cell. Invited a girl round, the rest was just a wonderful blur ;) Quote
