Lord Of Pies Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 (edited) Well, I have finally summoned up the courage ( :-D ) to post some of my MOCS. I plan on making some bigger piratical MOCS, but for now I will just show you some small ones! :-P Please tell me what you think of them: First off: A small cannon I made a few days ago: Light Cavalry: A small battle scene: Edit: Here are some pics of my Islander army: The whole pack of piratical pics when public-ified: Pirate Brickshelf I will probably upload better pics later today.( Please note I am still learning in the area of photography! ;-) ) Edited November 22, 2007 by Lord Of Pies Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 Ah that torso looks great with the white epaulettes! Poor cavalry, they're outnumbered by the islanders :-D Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted November 22, 2007 Governor Posted November 22, 2007 Cavalry tends to have longer ranged weapons and can move much faster due their equine assistants, so therefore I wouldn't be calling them "poor". Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 Very nice! The cannon is my fav. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted November 23, 2007 Governor Posted November 23, 2007 Well lads get excited about these MOCs! Give the Lord of Pies some feedback back would yers! Quote
El Bucanero Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Look at that cannon! What an inventive sulotion! Very clever. *y* What did you use for the belt of the light cavalry? It looks like a a rubber band wich is about to break! :-P Quote
The Admiral Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 (edited) Cavalry tends to have longer ranged weapons and can move much faster due their equine assistants, so therefore I wouldn't be calling them "poor". I wouldn't consider 14 to 1 fair. The calvary needs some help. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/drdrdr/t...pics..._021.jpg Edit: How do you get pictures to show up in your post? Asuka Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 A very neat cannon, a decent light cavalry and an impressive Islander army! :'-) That little battle scene looks pretty good too. *y* Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted November 23, 2007 Author Posted November 23, 2007 Look at that cannon! What an inventive sulotion! Very clever. *y* What did you use for the belt of the light cavalry? It looks like a a rubber band wich is about to break! :-P The belt is an orthodontic elastic band, when they are not stretched they measure less than 1 cm, so they are perfect for Lego! X-D Also The Admiral the pics you posted look just like mine, yet I have never seen them! Thanks for the feedback people! X-O *sweet* Quote
Col. Whipstick Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 *looks at all the islanders getting all fired up* :'-( :'-( :'-( *looks at nearly empty ammo cartidge case* :'-( :'-( :'-( I think it's time for a tactical retreat (run for your lives!) Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted November 23, 2007 Governor Posted November 23, 2007 I wouldn't consider 14 to 1 fair. The calvary needs some help. I mistakenly assumed by cavalry that there was more than one unit... http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/drdrdr/t...pics..._021.jpgEdit: How do you get pictures to show up in your post? Your picture is way too large to fit in a post. First thing you need to do is resize them so they're about 800 pixels wide. Quote
Johnny 5 Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Wow that cannon design is great! I think I'll steal it. Hee hee hee. :-P Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted November 24, 2007 Governor Posted November 24, 2007 Shall you use it for part of a larger MOC, Mr Johnny 5? Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted November 25, 2007 Author Posted November 25, 2007 Shall you use it for part of a larger MOC, Mr Johnny 5? Well, I am gonna be using it as a art of a larger MOC!! :-P ;-) Quote
Lord Of Pies Posted November 28, 2007 Author Posted November 28, 2007 I mistakenly assumed by cavalry that there was more than one unit...Your picture is way too large to fit in a post. First thing you need to do is resize them so they're about 800 pixels wide. Actually, there is more than one unit, I am constructing a few more, but I am missing horses and white epaulettes at the moment. :'-( Oh and about the double post; oops! ;-) Quote
