Captain Green Hair Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 Well i finally made a good avatar with my sigfig.....i think? Let me knowwhat you think! Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted November 18, 2007 Governor Posted November 18, 2007 The avatar shows promise but I think it could use more work... It's biggest problem is the shadow of the sword pretty much conceals your mini-figure's face. I'm not sure if that's intentional but I find it kinda distracting. If it's not intentional then I'd recommend you take another picture of the mini-figure with the light source coming from a different direction. Quote

This is intentional, makes him a bit mysterious wich i like. But you like the rest? Quote
Lt. Col. Thok Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 It's...good, I guess. I wouldn't call the lighting stellar, but..... Quote

Lt. Col. Thok Posted November 18, 2007 Posted November 18, 2007 Stellar(noun) very good; see AWESOME, AMAZING. Don't even try to beat Webster's Dictionary. ;-) Quote
Asuka Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 A very nice work with a cool MF, great in perspective and with a lovely background. Although there could be a little more light I guess it fits on the other hand very well with that dusk setting (I assume there Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted November 19, 2007 Governor Posted November 19, 2007 This is intentional, makes him a bit mysterious wich i like. But you like the rest? Yes, he looks like quite a good sigfig. Any chance of taking a couple of extra pictures without the sword shadow covering his face? I wouldn't mind seeing the face without the obstruction. Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted November 19, 2007 Eurobricks Emperor Posted November 19, 2007 I like it. It's mysterious indeed. And I like the way the sword is coming out of the picture. That's a cool effect. There is only one thing I find strange. The sun is behind the minifig, but still the sword gives a shade on the head... Quote
Shadows Posted November 19, 2007 Posted November 19, 2007 There is only one thing I find strange. The sun is behind the minifig, but still the sword gives a shade on the head... He's preparing to fight off a band of charging villagers carrying torches, of course! 8- Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted November 19, 2007 Governor Posted November 19, 2007 There is only one thing I find strange. The sun is behind the minifig, but still the sword gives a shade on the head... Yes, that is a physical impossibility unless there is a secondary light source in front on the sigfig. Quote
