jorgeopesi Posted March 12, 2016 Posted March 12, 2016 (edited) I started for the chassis without know the car yet . IMO my best chassis until now, AWD, compact, few pieces, some rare solutions in the hard suspension and very important for me with a good output for the steering wheel (I usually have problems with it). I built it AWD because it was more difficult but I am still looking for the car, it can be or not AWD. There is an obvious error, is my trademark in first assemblies . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otIHXDS_dS0&feature=youtu.be'>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hght26AHqfw&feature=youtu.be Edited March 12, 2016 by jorgeopesi Quote

OmgItsNitro Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 The differentials are similar to the technic 24 hour race car front end. Very clean setup! what body do you plan on going with? Quote
tibivi Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 very ingenious technique with those pneumatic t pieces on the wishbones I look forward to the progress! Quote
jorgeopesi Posted March 13, 2016 Author Posted March 13, 2016 Looks very promissing Jorge Thank you Edwin, we will see... The differentials are similar to the technic 24 hour race car front end. Very clean setup! what body do you plan on going with? The true is that I didn´t build this set I will take a look. The body is unknow, I still looking for it . very ingenious technique with those pneumatic t pieces on the wishbones I look forward to the progress! Thanks, it is the best part for a purist builder when you need something rare and you only have Lego, indeed they are old t pieces because new ones not serve . Quote
Victor Imaginator Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 Oh, those pneumatic T-shaped things) Quote
Lox Lego Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 (edited) very ingenious technique with those pneumatic t pieces on the wishbones I look forward to the progress! That's what I was thinking too! Will this be a RC car or manual? I too would like to create a awd version, finding the right setup a difficult. This looks so clean. I didn't even notice right away that you put a small grey connector in your spring for more tension! Nice! Edited March 13, 2016 by Lox Lego Quote
Milan Posted March 13, 2016 Posted March 13, 2016 I don't see a sprocket wheels for tracks anywhere...where are the tracks going to be? :) Quote

I didn't even notice right away that you put a small grey connector in your spring for more tension! Nice! After building several RC cars I learned important things. In my opinion RC is good for machines, mechanims or light vehicles. A large scale car is OK for me if it can park, I preffer a big gearbox in a slow car than a faster one full of motors, so I think it will be manual or semimanual (motors showing that it could work ). I don't see a sprocket wheels for tracks anywhere...where are the tracks going to be? :) you know, I'm taking a rest between machine and machine. I would do a small impreza Too many doors... but I would preffer a Delta integrale building it. Quote

Will it serve for spare parts for antother Italian car now ? Quote

Polo-Freak Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 (edited) Yes... please build the super nice Lancia Delta Integrale Evo2 Edited March 14, 2016 by Polo-Freak Quote
jorgeopesi Posted March 17, 2016 Author Posted March 17, 2016 Build an AWD car with front engine is easy if you don´t want gearbox... but with it is a nightmare... steering front-axle to differential, differential to rear-axle and gearbox and then gearbox to fake engine above the front-axle , without gearbox with the central differential near the front-axle would be a great option but very hard to build RC.
