As for submitting this MOC for LEGO IDEAS, I am taking a sober view of things - LEGO would not accept large scale characters as a set. In case they would like to take Despicable me franchise they will make something like Angry Birds series. And Gru and minions will be in minifigure scale. Quote

One can find easily different techniques of building yellow funny people. But for me it was interesting to make large scale Gru! Quote
