Admiral Admirable Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Marching On... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ While awaiting the return of Admiral Admirable, his 2nd In command, Commander Radcliff was doing what he did best; training the men, while it was mainly the Admiral that trained them, Radcliff was the one perfecting each aspects of their skills, from accuracy, to battle strategies, and this time, marching. He watched as he praised himself for "training the men extremely well" He continued to command his platoon until the return of Admiral Admirable... END ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hello all, here is my new freebuild. This time I decided to step outside and see if I could get any better pictures. Although the build itself I not extremely exciting, I just wanted a good way to showcase the amount of men I have obtained over the years. Heres some additional photos: Tree: Originally an attempt I made at creating a Lego Minecraft tree some time back. Minifigures used: I currently have 20 soldiers (left) and 5 officers/gunners (right) I admit that this freebuild for me was quite underwhelming . I was in a rush for time (seriously, I put this together in 10 minutes) so I can't say I proud of this build. anyways, as always suggestions and comments are always appreciated. Quote
TitusV Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Lovely soldiers! I always like to see line infantry! Quote
Tezclatipoca Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Nice ! You have a quite good platoon here ! I hope we will not have to face them in battle... Quote
Captain Dee Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 As you said, it is pretty simple, but I like the concept and the photos look nice, as if they're marching through a forest or jungle or something. You did put some effort in it - the poses look exactly the same (even the position of the hats) which is what you want from a well-trained and disciplined regiment. The tight formation looks great, and they look ready to crush anything in their path. So basically they're a proper Corrington unit! Quote
Kai NRG Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 An impressive platoon! At least it's impressive to someone who doesn't have a single redcoat (me). Quote
Puvel Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Very clever to take this one outside for pics, looks like a proper march through the jungle now Quote
