Eggyslav Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 (edited) Guys I really need your help, I recently had an... accident with my hard disk drive, and I had to replace it. Naturally, my copy of LDD (and all my creations ) were gone. So, I wanted to start from scratch, and downloaded LDD from TLG's website, and installed it. But halfway through "downloading bricks" part of loading screen, a dialogue box popped out, saying that "Bricks download failed", and asked me if I wanted to launch LDD in offline mode, and then, immediately after that, ctd happened. I contacted via e-mail TLG Customer Service already, but maybe you guys have a solution? Please, help... Edited January 26, 2016 by Eggyslav Quote
Calabar Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 I suggest you to wait a bit and try again. Maybe there is some malfunction in LDD servers. About data... my suggestion is to never have a single copy of your data. But I think you learned that, now! Quote

SylvainLS Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 I downloaded LDD yesterday (on a brand new installation (Wine)) and it managed to download all its bricks updates (that’s a bit long). So maybe the problem is with your Internet connection? Do you have any anti-virus or firewall settings that could block download or slow it down? Quote
