Gnac Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Can the truck "accidentally" fit on the conveyor? Quote
GoldVillage Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 So it is true that they redesigned the truck as mentioned in the interview. Besides the obvious differences we can see in the front, they are sharing the same chassi and steering except the differences that was made to eliminate the gears and chain (for engine), other than that the bed goes deeper in to the cab but the lifting mechanism seems to be the same. Ngoc Nguyen Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 (edited) Can the truck "accidentally" fit on the conveyor? The conveyor is only 5L wide, while the truck is wider than that. I saw a worm gear. but haven't seen it anywhere in the set. Any idea where it might be? Edited July 11, 2016 by nguyengiangoc Quote
doug72 Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 (edited) Merman: Can you confirm the number of teeth on the new Gear rack quadrants ? Edited July 11, 2016 by Doug72 Quote
rocklego Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 The number of studs from the center to the rim, including both the stud in the center and the stud on the rim, is actually 11. Which means the distance between the centers of the holes on the edge, and the center of the circle, is 10 studs. That's the distance I was talking about :). I think both of you tried to explain about the diameter and radius for the ring gear. Hope that above picture shown will help. Quote
Alegomind Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 (edited) Does anyone know who designed the BWE? Markus Kossmann ( the same of 42009 ), you can read MK III on the stickers of model :) Edited July 11, 2016 by Alegomind Quote

nerdsforprez Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Just looked at the inventory. Man, you really know a set is "unprecedented" when the availability of certain parts will likely alter even BL prices. Just like Sheepo's mustang nearly bankrupt the worldwide inventory of #4 red connectors, this set will likely decrease the price on several highly wanted parts. 5x7 frame, 15L DBG liftarms, 3x3 perpendicular pin connector, etc....... Kalhiki Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Good Lord, all those gears. So, here in the States... I guess it's coming out August 1st? Is that correct? Can't wait to get my hands on this monster. Quote
Alegomind Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Very interesting system of gears, it is more complicated than how much it seems Quote

Can't wait to get my hands on this monster. I would not hold your breath on this. That would be great if it were available in the US 1 AUG........ but traditionally we get these sets (2H) later than everywhere else...... Quote
Brick-Nick Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Both last year 2H & this year 1H cam out at the same time in Canada than in most of Europe. Same, this year 42056 came out in Canada at the same time than Europe. I would be very surprised if this is not happening again this year and if release dates were different in the USA & Canada Quote
Erik Leppen Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 the availability of certain parts will likely alter even BL prices. I don't count on it. I mean, the set itself is not cheap either. If the set were free, yes, then I can imagine 5x7 frames prices would drop. But I'm not so sure that having 50 frames in a 300 euro set will do much. Quote

That would be great if it were available in the US 1 AUG........ but traditionally we get these sets (2H) later than everywhere else...... Is that so... Well that sucks. Haven't ever anticipated a Technic set like this, so I'm unfamiliar with their regular release patterns. Though I should'a figured as much. Shop@Home has all the Coming Soon Aug. 1st sets listed with the BWE nowhere to be found. Oh well. I've waited this long. I can wait a bit longer. Just keep treating us to pictures to tide me over until then! Quote
Kaanere Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 But I'm not so sure that having 50 frames in a 300 euro set will do much. The set costs 249€ Quote
Beard Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 The set costs 249€ ...and the street price will be even lower. Fortunately. Quote
Kman860 Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 The set costs 249€ So probably somthing like $350 CAD/$300 USD? Quote
PicnicBasketSam Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Strange... the other two sets aren't listed either. Anyone know why this is? LEGO, I want my CLAAS already!! Quote
