Just watched the Brick Show review of the Encounter on Jakku set - can anyone else confirm that an additional plastic canopy piece is included or was heist REALLY lucky? This could genuinely sway me getting the set as it offers more opportunities to extend the structure.

That's probably a lucky mistake. Lego usually doesn't give something like this as an extra, so Brick show probably lucked out. But the set itself is pretty bad in my opinion. It looks so small for a 60$ set! Unkar is the only reason to buy this set if you ask me.

Brick Show just reviewed Vaders Tie Advanced vs A-Wing set. Really nice set: great minifigures , especially Sabine and Vader( who even has back printing). A-wing is the best version of this starfighter Lego has ever made. Vaders Tie is also good, but requires small modification to fold wings in. Overall best summer SW set, can't wait to get it.

The TIE Advance vs A-Wing set is a good set, but the set is way too overpriced, even for a Star Wars set.

Why can brickshow never build a set correctly? Anyway, the set is very nice indeed. The Sabine hair piece still has the wrong shape, but I like the fact that there's a lot more color printed on it. The Tie Advanced and the A-wing are both incredibly nice, but that shooting feature of the A-wing is even more complicated than I thought. After toy fair I thought the entire middle part moved back in order to shoot the missiles, which is quite something already, but it now seems like the bottom front half of the middle moves along with the top front half and the canopy. It looks a little too complicated, with the way the entire assembly slides around the minifigure in the cockpit. You probably need to align that pilot perfectly in order for this too work.

The Encounter on Jakku definitely looks to small to be $60 even with new molds and a creature.

Just checked out the Brick Show Resistance X-Wing review. If I'm not mistaken, the printed tile on top of the removable hyperdrive section is the front of the GNK droid from the UCS Sandcrawler!

Indeed. It's a very clever use of the part. At least, I think it looks passable as engine detailing.

Ezra and Chopper are nice to get again, but Ahsoka is the main draw here. I personally am not very fond of the set, but it is a different vehicle, so there's that.

Looks decent. Ahsoka looks overdetailed but I will wait until better pictures are posted to make that judgement !

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Ahsoka finally uses trans-dark blue blades!

Meh looks okayish. Ahsoka and Sato are nice additions, but same old ezra/chopper/Kalus with a mediocre ship makes me not that happy.

That's one weird vehicle! I don't think this ship was in any Rebels episodes, which kinda dissapointed. Ahsoka looks cool, but her lightsabers are blue? Can't Lego give her proper white lightsabers? Ezra looks the same, no scar ? Kallus is also repeat, so that's dissapointing. Commander Sato looks ok, but 5 minifigures in 90-100$ set? Are you kidding me Lego? And no Seventh Sister in the set... So mixed feelings on this set.

If it's a ToysRUs exclusive, I would bet on it being $90. Past few years TRU exclusives have been $90, 2012 Palpatine Arrest, 2014 MTT, ect.

I watch Rebels, and I think this set is ugly as sin. I guess they wanted to keep the part count down to make it more appealing to buy, but it's definitely suffered in looks as a result.
