I'm guessing the $10 one is just a Microfighter.

Looks like a rectangular box.

Like, 4 years ago. This one will probably have updated printing.

Awww yes! Finally a $10 dollar non micro fighter set potentially!

Are they displaying the Rogue One sets at Toy fair?

The whole section of the press release is talking about the Star Wars line as a whole, so yes, the $10 sets are the Microfighters from Spring.

LEGO Star Wars™ adds 25 new sets in 2016 to the best-selling building collection. Sets are inspired by classic Star Wars films, the all new animated television series LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures and the animated television show Star Wars Rebels, as well as the 2015 blockbuster Star Wars: The Force Awakens, plus scenes from the highly anticipated Star Wars: Rogue One film, ranging in price from $9.99 to $149.99.

In the second press realease for LEGO Star Wars, there's only one mention of Rogue One (at the start), and you can see they group Microfighters prices with the specific lines:

Fans of Star Wars: The Force Awakens can bring scenes and characters from the 2015 blockbuster home with eight new film-inspired building sets. Five are available now, one launches in March and two follow in June. More than 10 characters from the film are represented in minifigure form for the first time through the collection, including First Order Snowtroopers (First Order Snowspeeder), Resistance Troopers (Resistance Trooper Battle Pack), Maz Kanata (Battle on Takodana), Admiral Ackbar and General Leia Organa (Resistance Troop Transporter). Assortment prices range from $9.99-$79.99.

And I'm almost confident we wont see Rogue One sets at the NYTF. Disney is keeping it all secretive.

That Echo Base sounds like an excellent set. The modular aspect implies the base can be fully closed without any gaps much like the recent GB Firehouse. Looks like a very promising set.

This is good news :-)

LEGO® Assault on Hoth™ Base will Challenge Even the Most Skilled Fan Builders

Experienced builders can recreate the Rebel Force’s Echo Base from Star Wars: Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back in an unbelievably detailed recreation of one of the most iconic scenes in the original Star Wars trilogy. The 2,144-piece building set inspires fans to build their own scouting missions with the Snowspeeder, armed with twin spring-loaded shooters, and get back to base on the speeder bike to help Luke, Han and the other Rebel heroes. The modular design enables fans to customize their Rebel base configuration, including a Wampa cave and Wampa figure. The set features LEGO minifigure versions of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Toryn Farr, Wes Janson, Wedge Antilles, K-3PO, and more. Available May 1 for $249.99.

So it's official...yet another Snowspeeder to take up precious piece count. I would prefer a more substantial Echo base build and more minifigs, ala Ewok Village.

I would trade some of those Hoth Base minifigs out for a tauntaun or two.

edited to add: I also hope the Han is not identical to the one we're already getting in Hoth Attack. I'd prefer the version without the parka.

So... The more I read this... Does anyone else think this sounds a lot like a combination of features in a lot of previous Hoth sets?

Yeah, I think over half the set is just going to be remakes of some of the smaller sets we have already like the wampa cave, snowspeeder, and all the echo base sets we have. Basically they remade all the hoth sets and are throwing them together in a box for $250

The cast of the Freemason Adventures conveys a rather surprising lack of diversity.

Well, it is about a family. I wouldn't doubt that the secondary cast will be more diverse than the primary family.

Remember, the description says "and more" there's more minifigures and extras they didn't mention.

Good call. Can't wait to see the pics this weekend! I passed on Ewok Village but I have a soft spot for Hoth.

Those two statements would seem somewhat contradictory.

As someone else and the press release noted, they're a family. So the 3 pictured are either siblings or parents & their son (the press release says "their youngest' so sibs is a possibility, sorta like the Azzameen family in the "X-wing Alliance" game)

If they don't have (m)any Cloud City sets on the horizon, Han in his "Bespin" jacket would make plenty of sense as he had many scenes without the cold-weather gear, and it's been awhile since we've had him in that jacket.

Surprised to see that Wedge Antilles is included in 75098: Assault on Hoth.

Me, too! And Janson! Two more Rogues, maybe an updated helmet deco for Wedge, new deco for Janson... those two guys make the set very tempting to me. :excited:

Another snow speeder? TLG has released so many snow speeders with minimal changes i'm honestly surprised they're including one in the UCS. I thought they would've included an empty hanger so that people who buy the set will want to but a separate snow speeder set to fill it. That's just me though.

Ahh rats. :sceptic: Well thanks for clearing that up for me, better to know now then later.

Well, if thats the case that Antilles is in the Hoth echo base, that would be amazing! Wondering what the final look of the set will be and if the delay had anything to do with revamping the design or character designs. Im assuming that the delay was just due to the Episode VII lego releases, but who knows.

Wedge Antilles is a nice surprise. Hopefully his head will have an alternative face print without the helmet visor. I also like the sound of the base having a modular design. It didn't look like it in the video but hopefully the delay did involve improving the design of the set.

Still disapointed there's no Hoth Leia though, especially with Han being included in both Hoth sets this year. Would have been nice to get her with leg printing and the 2015 face.

Freemakers, not Freemason, that is something way different. Hahahah. Hopefully we'll see all the star wars stuff this week. I wanna see new Ahsoka

So, three more Rebels sets to come in June, and so far we've only seen the Tie Vs A-wing set and the AT-TE, anyone care to speculate what the remaining set might be? The AT-DP, Ghost and Phantom got retired from last years wave

Echo base seems a bit meh from the description. They didn't really sell it from the small section it was given. Will challenge mature builders, I doubt it.

I agree with the comments above, it will most likely be a mix of all the sets we received in the past few years...

Better have tauntauns.

Posted (edited)

I'm positive it will include a Tauntaun. The video on Lego's website gave a pretty good idea what the remaining figures are. Just to recap:

Confirmed

Hoth Luke

Hoth Han

Toryn Farr

Wes Janson

Wedge Antilles

Wampa

Seen in video

Hoth Rebel Officer

Hoth Rebel Trooper

Major Derlin

R3-A2

Snowtrooper

Tauntaun

That still leaves out Hoth Leia, Bacta Tank Luke, 2-1B, R-3PO, Zev Senesca and General Rieekan though.

The Wampa cave could quite possibly be part of the base. I mean there was a holding cell for the Wampa in the base.
