Tommy Styrvoky Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Great to see that someone finally built this vehicle from the movie, great job with the shaping of the rear of it. Quote
agrof Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Really good! Love the shape, You captured really well. The details are also very well done. Could we get more technical bits (chassis, driving chain, suspension), please ? Quote
paave Posted November 18, 2015 Author Posted November 18, 2015 Thanks. There'll be some more photos on Brickshelf soon. There isn't anything special with chassis and suspension, a lot can be seen on photos/video. Quote
MajklSpajkl Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Fantastic replica of the real car. It looks really fast - how much does it weigh? Supercharger pulley looks supercool! Quote
miguev Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Great job! I'm still wondering how you managed to fit the buggy motor in there, the bodywork looks awesome despite that big motor inside, well done :) Quote
paave Posted November 18, 2015 Author Posted November 18, 2015 Thanks. Fantastic replica of the real car. It looks really fast - how much does it weigh? Supercharger pulley looks supercool! Unfortunately, I haven't got weigher to check that, but it might be something like 1 kg. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Great MOC from an iconic movie! Quote
Lakop Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 I can only second what's been said. You've nailed that one! If it was an official set I would buy it. Great job. H Quote

SevenStuds Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 If it was an official set I would buy it. Isn't that what everyone said about the Hulk? I suppose you're entering TC9 where your skills for official sets will come in handy? Very nice model BTW! Love the details underneath as well! Quote
paave Posted November 18, 2015 Author Posted November 18, 2015 Thanks a lot. Isn't that what everyone said about the Hulk? I suppose you're entering TC9 where your skills for official sets will come in handy? Very nice model BTW! Love the details underneath as well! Not sure about entering a contest now, as I'd like to finish my another MOC first. Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 Great build, love it so much, and it is quite fast... Quote
JM1971 Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 (edited) Sweeeet, and even has a working supercharger, very nice. It was hardly in the new mad max film yet it was the star of the original trilogy, I was dissapointed with the new film becuause of that, but the interceptor lives again in lego. :D Edited November 19, 2015 by JM1971 Quote
