Zerobricks Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 Hi! I've been very active here and one of the things I often do is helping people with their LDD builds where LDD "misbehaves" LDD files are usualy under 100k but the upload limit is quickly clogged up. Any way to increase limit so I dont have to upload other people's work on my sites? Thanks! Quote
Zerobricks Posted November 7, 2015 Author Posted November 7, 2015 I dont like to bump my own topic, but....No opinions? Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted November 7, 2015 Eurobricks Emperor Posted November 7, 2015 For my info, are there free hosting sites supporting uploading and linking LDD files? Quote

Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted November 7, 2015 Eurobricks Emperor Posted November 7, 2015 I don't see how that answers the question... I was asking about sites like Flickr, Brickshelf, ... What are those sites of yours? Quote
Zerobricks Posted November 7, 2015 Author Posted November 7, 2015 I mean I dont wanna upload other people's LDD mocs (the ones I help) on my brickshelf/bricskafe folders and than have some random people telling me I stole other people's work (has happened alredy)... Thats all and an increased file attachment size would allow me to upload more than one LDD file at a time here. Quote
dr_spock Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 How do people send you copies of their MOC LDD files to work on? I have used Dropbox to host files privately. You can set a file permission to so that only people you emailed or shared the file link to can download the file. Dropbox gives you 2GB storage free. I think 5GB if you have an apple device. You can also pay for more storage space. Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 (edited) A potential fix could be if there was a button similar to a spoiler tag which the member can add the contents of a ldd or ldraw file into, another user could simply save the contents of that "button/link" to there computer.I know there are code tags and spoiler tags, but this could have the added functionality of the end user being able to download/save the contents of the new button. Umbra-Manis Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 I'd recommend using a link only folder on Bricksafe named "Other people's Models" or something like that. Quote
